On a Tuesday, set a 9:30am Saturday appointment for a 135i LCI headlight retrofit. During that call, I asked if they were capable and comfortable doing the swap since it involves jumping one wire and some light coding. Sure, no problem Dan said. Chose EAS because they are a well known shop with an excellent service reputation. A good friend of mine had his E92 M3 heavily modified by them with no issues.
Arrive for my appointment, have my car and two brand new in box LCI headlights. Also bring some additional OEM ducting parts for my BMW Performance bumper (Part Number 51 740 442 875) and ask if they can install them, since the bumper is coming off anyway. Sure, no problem. $ 354 estimate for a couple hours labor, splicing a wire, and coding.
Estimated 2 – 3 hour job, I leave for coffee and come back after an hour and a half. Once the bumper and headlights are off my car, Dan explains to me that they can’t do the swap properly because they need 2 additional wires. I ask if there’s any way they could just jump/​splice the wires, he says no (you can, but it’s a bit janky. fair enough). Without these wires, everything will work except the LED brow. Its already been over two hours, I can’t come in during the week, tell them to proceed anyway.
After an hour and change I pop my head in the back, notice they’ve reassembled the bumper incorrectly. Having not put in the additional ducts I brought in. They do it again, only this time they leave the covers over the ducts. Have to disassemble a second time to remove the covers over the ducts they just put in. 3^rd time is the charm, and they pull my car outside. The bumper gap on the passenger side is ¼″, driver’s side looks like it is hanging off. Dan agrees that the gaps aren’t right, blames it on aftermarket parts (its all new BMW parts I had painted and installed the same week at Sterling Collision), then they pull the car in to correct.
After another hour and change they pull the car over to the coding side, then plainly tell me they can’t code the lights and my car is crashing their computer. All they need to do is delete «$VO» code for adaptive headlights.
Around 3:30pm (they technically closed at 2:00pm) Dan brings me to the office to pay $ 250 for the headlight install. Their system is off so he runs my card (oh yeah, they also don’t take American Express) and asks for my email, saying he’ll send me the invoice later.
After six hours and paying $ 250, I leave with a slightly worse fitting bumper, non-​functioning headlight LED brow, and a constant headlight error code on my dash. Thankfully, the headlights actually work. Oh, and Dan never sent my invoice.
While I was there, several brand new M3 and M4 cars received coding, downpipes, suspension, and EAS’s signature «outside wall» mini photoshoot. They got excellent service, don’t get how they dropped the ball so bad when it came to my car. If there was a zero star option, I would choose that.

After hearing some ticking from my E92 M3 engine, and being the anal audiophile I am, I quickly took my car to EAS to see what they had to say about it. Steve gave it a listen and said he was 90% sure it was worn rod bearings that were making the noise.
What I really appreciated from Tom was that he actually advised me to try have BMW NA repair it since I was only 4 months out of CPO warranty. He didn’t want to take my business right away, and said that I should come back to EAS as a last resort. In the meantime, he advised that I take and oil sample and send it to Blackstone.
Blackstone diagnosed my issue as rod bearing wear without knowing that I already had the assumption that I had this problem. This confirmed the problem for me and I proceeded to contact BMW NA about my issue.
BMW NA suggested that I take it to a BMW dealership to diagnosis my car, and they can then decide whether they will cover the cost of repairs. I took my car to Bob Smith BMW at Calabasas, CA for the diagnosis. They wanted to charge me over $ 2,300.00 for the diagnosis alone, the reason being that they claimed that dropping the oil pan and looking inside was the only way to surely diagnose my problem. Since any support from BMW NA wasn’t even a certainty, I took my car home and gave Tom a call.
I brought in my car on Monday and EAS was finished with it Friday. I was very impressed with the workmanship and the thoroughness of the job. They made every effort to remove all bearing debris in the engine, and they did a terrific job. They even cleaned my entire engine bay. It looks like it was straight off the showroom floor!
They replaced the piston rod bolts with ARP rod bolts, which have threads that are 10x stronger than OEM bolts, and replaced my bearing with surface treated WPC bearings, which are more durable than OEM bearings without compromising clearance.
If any of you hear any ticking from your S65, don’t take any chances. Stop driving the car, get and oil analysis, and give EAS a call!

Great service completed with professionalism. I’ve been coming here since 2008 and will continue to come here to get the work done right. A bit pricey for the work to be done but there is no price for getting the work done right once, the first time. Every employee seems to be friendly and helpful. Relatively comfortable waiting/​show room.

I started noticing that every picture on the BMW forums had the same back-​drop. I started to wonder and asked myself, «Where the hell is this place?» Literally, every picture I have seen with modded M4s have had the same back-​drop. I asked around and found out that it was EAS. I researched the location and within minutes, no joke, I drove there and installed 15 mm wheel spacers in the rear of my M4.
They are VERY professional, brutally honest, and cool guys all the way. They know a lot about BMW, of course, and they have experience with all BMWs… so for me, that was very important. On top of that, they have already had their trial and errors with cars… it’s not like I’m going to a tuning company that has never worked on an M4 or has worked on M4s just a few times. These guys have pretty much done it all and on a lot of cars.
**Another thing that REALLY stood out was their cleanliness. The young guy who took my car in covered the seat and the steering wheel or at least I thought that’s what he was doing… and the car was returned to me in the same condition I gave it to them… so scuffs on the door, steering wheel, etc… My car now drives a little better with the spacers, sound on the freeway has gotten less, and the stance is super-​aggressive.
Very happy, and I will definitely go back.

made an appointment to get after market paddle shifters put in my M3. order the ones i wanted, Kevin was great getting me the parts, went for the install. everyone was nice, place was cool, install went fast and very professionally done. great place, ill be back…

They are great people and really helped enhance my 328 with a bms power box, but it took 5 weeks for my part to get here when they said it would take at most a week. They did not offer me anything, out of respect for my time, to compensate for making me wait 5 weeks. This was my first time here and they did not provide my with the service I expected. They are all very knowledgable but I felt there was more to be done for me as a first timer.

Back when I was involved with BMW’s, EAS was great to deal with. They were competent, professional, knowledgeable, and very passionate about what they did. One of the best BMW shops in California. Tom and Steve were a pleasure to deal with time and time again. They’ve got a two wheel dyno in house too, so drop by to check out how much power your car’s putting down, regardless of whether it’s a BMW or not!

Friendly staff and good customer service.
When we need some mods done, we will decide to go to EAS or ModBargains.
EAS though seems to be further, but their cust. service and prices are excellent.

I have an e90 M3 and decided to forgo Coilovers as I was in the process of building new 3 piece wheels. I knew that I’d lose my EDC function and get an error message. After searching for a reputable shop I came across EAS who also happened to be in Anaheim.
I called and I was helped by Kevin who said they had a time slot available at noon as I requested.
I showed up and Kevin warned me that any coded features that I may already have will be erased. Fair enough.
Within 10 minutes my car was taken in and I was just as quickly done expecting that what I requested was done. After all, this is a reputable place among the BMW community.
As soon as I got in my car and pulled out the same error message showed up. $ 95 later, lost coded functions and they had nothing to show for.
Went back and I asked for a refund. They had one chance, and simple one, to get this right and they would’ve earned my business for future mods. Unfortunately this won’t be the case. I’m a reasonable man with reasonable expectations, nothing more.
I would give one star but won’t since Kevin was helpful from my initial contact with EAS.

So after speaking with a good friend of mine who had quite a bit of work done to his E92 M I made an appointment with Kevin at EAS. As I walked in all the guys were friendly and very knowledgeable. I got some APEX PS-7’s, MS stud conversion and SR48 lugs put on which only took about a hour and a half. In addition to it being quick compared to other places I’ve gone for similar work the cost out the door was very competitive. Being an OCD perfectionist it’s tough to please me but Kevin and the guys at EAS did an excellent job. Definitely will be coming back for future mods!

Had some work done on my 2008 M3 last year, spark plugs, oil change, air filters etc… Kevin was my Rep.
I had an angel eye go out last week on my car so I emailed Kevin S. Yesterday 11÷04÷14 and asked him what he had available. He sent me info on a couple of choices. I picked their in house product and the next day, today 11÷05÷14 BAM in the mail !!! I had my angel eye’s. Thanks for the great service once again.

Although most people take their cars here for mods, I took my car here twice for repairs upon the recommendation of one of my friends. Well, actually two of my friends who recommended this same spot. Once for a water pump replacement and other installs. The other time for a malfunctioning alternator.
What keeps me coming back (aside from car problems) is the customer service. When I first took my car here, Tom and Steve helped me. This was around the Lunar New Year so I wanted to get my car back before the holiday – I’m a tad superstitious. They ended up working beyond closing hours in order to get my car back to me. Totally cool, really.
Robert helped me most recently and although I didn’t talk to him much he was able to get my car in and out in good time. The shop does get really busy, but they always try to accommodate me which I appreciate. I’ve taken my car for a diagnostic at a couple of other shops and none were comparable to EAS. They were always able to locate the problem.
Pricey, but I guess that’s the cost of owning a European car.

I was a little intimidated at first coming here because I’ve never really modified a car before and while I’m not clueless about cars, I probably didn’t know as much as they did.
Fortunately for me, Robert helped me out and was really chill. The day after I got my 335 I stopped by to pick up some matte black kidney grills which turned out to be a lot cheaper in person. Afterwards, Robert gave me a quick tour of the place and answered a few of my noobish questions while I was there.
I went back recently to get a LCI retrofit done along with some other minor light mods and everything went very smoothly. I was in and out and happy with my new taillights.
The only complaint I have is how close I live and how much money I’ll probably be throwing away every time I go to EAS.
