I had a great experience with Vivian. She was professional and communicated well about what she was doing and why. I felt very comfortable with her and fully trust in her abilitIes. The treatment I received was for fuller natural looking lips and wrinkle free forehead and that is what I got! I would hands down use her again and will be back.

Shortly after I left my review, I was contacted by manager Geli Silva. I was caught a bit off guard but appreciated that he took the time to read my review and reach out to me. He was polite and professional. He told me he never had any complaints about Carly but that she had moved on. Then I was informed that there was a new hire with a lot of experience, Naomi. I felt very hesitant to try them again, but decided a second try is fair since my review was being taken seriously. This manager really cares about the company.
I visited the Cosmetic Laser Institute last week. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Laura who works the front desk and is always polite. I was happy to see a recognizable face. I was then introduced to Naomi. She had a warm smile and was pleasant. Before we started, Naomi took the time to sit with me and ask me what I was looking to have done, problem/​stubborn areas, etc. Naomi had been a customer of Carly’s and that helped too.
Then we started. From the first second she put the gel on me, I knew this would be a better visit. The gel wasn’t caked on and it wasn’t messy. She cleaned as she went and didn’t leave a big dripping mess on me. Naomi moved quickly and stopped to ask how I was doing. When she finished, she checked her own work to see if anything was missed. We moved on to the next area and I could see she was very thorough.
Naomi has great bedside manner. Never making my feel awkward or embarrassed. I was very pleased and will continue to come back and see her. Naomi is currently only working on Mondays. I would have come back this week for more if she was there. Hopefully this will be her permanent home and her days will increase.

Just a little background, I am a female and I have hormonal problems and due to that I started growing really thick hair (Like men) on my cheeks, chin and the neck area when I was 12. To save my self from all the bullying I started waxing and tweeting my hair. It would take me more than 30 minutes to clean and with that the pain of course. A year ago I went for electrolysis. Spent $ 1400 with hardly any results to be seen. And trust me it was so painful at times that I just wanted to cry my eyes off. The numbing cream wouldn’t work even. It was hell. Finally I decided to give a shot to laser. Although I heard so many bad things about it and was very skeptical to do it on my face at least. But after wasting too much money and going through all the pain, I decided to go for it. I did my first session in December 2015. And I swear to God, I results were AMAZING!!! So far I have done only 4 sessions and there is Hardly any hair left on my face. And my face feels great. I get compliments from family and friends all the time since they knew how my face was before.
If you are really suffering from thick hair, this place is for you. The staff is great and so is their laser machine:)

Laura is great with peels and microderm abrasions, she is one of two people I let treat my skin. I’ve been coming here for over four years and always get the result I want. They have awesome deals every month and I have referred many friends and family.

I absolutely love this place! I purchased a groupon 3 years ago for their laser services and I have been going back for multiple services ever since. The offices are always well maintained and squeaky clean every time. Carly does my laser and she’s such a gem! I’ve absolutely loved my results with everything over the last 3 years of loyalty with her! And Laura, who works front desk and schedules appointments, is so accommodating and always so kind. I always look forward to my appointments!
Highly, HIGHLY, recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Really great place ! The staff is very kind however my appointments were always when the lunch hour was ending and they have coverage from another department that isn’t stelar. Twice I was there for my appointment and nobody notified them of my arrival once I waited over an hour and was skipped twice. If it weren’t for poor coverage I would give them five stars. The machines they use are great and results were excellent. Just make sure someone notifies the appropriate staff you have arrived ;).

Well, I’m officially done with my Underarm laser sessions and all I have to say is wow! Not a single hair left! I absolutely love it. The office (Laura and other girls) are very accommodating and Carly always does a fast/​efficient job! Now I’m starting on another area. so excited to see the results!

Had an appointment from the Cosmetic Institute for Botox, and my whole experience was everything that I thought it would be. Carly was my nurse and she took great care of me. She was very fast and made sure I was comfortable during my visit; the room and clinic was very clean. The receptionist was also very pleasant and checked me in quickly. They had some «Specials» going on that I will be coming back for in a few weeks. I would definitely recommend this location/​clinic to my friends! Keep up the good work!

I just wanted to recognize how amazing this place is. I purchased laser sessions for my whole face and neck as well as my underarms (at a ridiculously good price) and from the very first session my results were stunning!
I have struggled with hair issues my whole life and painful waxing, time-​wasting on shaving and I’m so done with it.
I’m literally excited everytime I go there because I know I’m like a session or two away from where I want to be at.
In fact I’m so happy with my results that I will continue with their service to get my entire body done!
Aside from the excellent results, the whole staff is extremely courteous and professional, they always call a day before to confirm appointments and do not hassle me if I need to make any changes. I highly highly highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get laser done!

I had my first mircorderm procedure performed here and it was a great experience! My skin was so soft and radiant after the procedure! I am will come here again, the next time for a facial.

Great experience so far! In January, I purchased one of their specials — unlimited laser hair removal sessions for bikini area (Brazilian) for 1 year: $ 300. I’ve been 3 times so far (the sessions are every 6 weeks) and I’ve already seen a huge reduction. I saw a significant reduction even after the very first treatment. Carly is the RN who performs the laser treatments and she is awesome. She goes quick which I appreciate because it can be a little uncomfortable. 100 times better than waxing though! Once I finish this year of sessions, I definitely plan on having the laser hair removal done on other areas.
I always receive a reminder/​confirmation call the day before from Laura who is very professional. The sessions have usually only been about 5 minutes long and I have never waited more than a couple minutes to be called back. They run on time so you better be on time.

The best laser place I have ever found, Carly is the most amazing nurse I have ever worked with. I won’t go anywhere else! The laser really worked and the staff is very nice. It’s not too hard to make an appointment either

I saw the living social deal for unlimited laser hair removal for a year. I called them and asked them if I could purchase multiple areas and they allowed me. I got my lower legs, brazalian bikini, under arms, and face. It was so worth it! I got right in. The technician made me feel so comfortable. She walked me through everything and informed me what she was doing. I was in and out in half hour. She treated all of my areas and it was pretty painless. There were a few sensitive areas but she was efficient and talked me through it. I HIGHLY recommend going to the Laser Institute. I will update my progress on my hair as soon as I see a difference.
So I’m almost done with my year treatment and WOW!!! I would say 98% of my hair is gone with very very few little hairs remaining. So worth the money. Staff is so great and friendly too!

I just purchased a package for laser hair removal on my full legs. I’ve only had one session but my experience so far has been good. The girl at the front desk was professional and courteous when I checked in for my appointment, as well as when I called back later to schedule my next visit. The technician was also great — super friendly and efficient. I felt very comfortable during my session and the laser didn’t even hurt too much, although I have been waxing for years so I’m used to painful hair removal. I have dark skin and have already seen results from just one session.

The establishment is VERY professional and always top notch. They have very respectful people working for them and there are two individuals who have been extremely kind and comforting throughout my time there; Carly and Laura. Two outstanding individuals dedicated to customer service and customer satisfaction. I would recommend this establishment to anyone in need.

I really like this place! I got underarm hair removal on groupon and am just over half way through. Great results and the girls are so sweet! They’re efficient and scheduling is super easy.

If anyone reads my account, They would know I am brutally honest. This place is the BEST laser clinic you will find. The staff is nice (Laura), they’re always on time, and Carly is the best nurse to do your laser hair removal with. She is so kind and so diligent. I would give this place way more than 5 stars if I could.
At the same time, the only laser nurse I would go to is Carly. I went once before with another nurse and if this review was based off my experience with her, it would be a one star. Carly is really the only reason to go there.

Don’t know why some reviewers are so upset. Just make your appointment, don’t forget to reschedule, and you won’t lose your spot. They even send you a notice with your paperwork with making sure that you don’t flake on appointments. Especially with the influx of members with the Groupon promotion from last Summer.
The laser appointments don’t even last that long. 5 minutes at the most since I got my sideburns, chin, upperlip, and neck. Staff is super friendly and nice.
The first laser technician was okay, very short and blunt with me. I didn’t get her name but the second technician with my second appointment was super friendly. The room was packed too but with my appointment, I just checked in, and walked into the treatment room in less than five minutes. The outside of the building looks shoddy but once you walk in, it is nice.

I agree with the other reviewers, do NOT waste your money or time buying groupons or other deals from this place. They oversell these specials and then when you need to make an appointment you have to wait two months. They don’t even try to work with you at all, and are overselling and understaffing which means you end up paying for services that you don’t get.
This is especially worrisome because I bought an «unlimited for 2 years» leg laser hair removal groupon and have only been able to get in like 2 or 3 times in the past year due to them being constantly overbooked and understaffed.
In the sessions I was able to get into, the laser hair removal nurse was very nice. The room is super cold and the gel that they put on is cold too. Can’t comment on the effectiveness of their laser since I can’t get in the every 8 weeks as is recommended.
The receptionists and ladies that do the scheduling are immature and unprofessional. I had one gal tell me after I asked why they don’t expand their hours or hire more people that «they needed time off too because they also had lives». Totally clueless as to the point I was making. I’ve also called and not been able to reach anyone on the phone several times. Last month I called and left two voicemails and never received a return call. Come on people, this is Running a Business 101!
I won’t be giving them any more of my money. If I need any of their offered services in the future, I will find somewhere else. I suggest you do the same.

I was surprised to see the negative reviews on this place but then I read and realized that the people posting one star reviews have not even set foot in the place. Please be sure to read the «Filtered» reviews (see the grey link at the bottom left of this page above the «about this business» part). For whatever reason (probably because they stated names), Unilocal has chosen to filter them and their scores do not reflect in the over all rating.
MY EXPERIENCE:
I too purchased the Groupon deal for a 2 year unlimited sessions. Prior to booking my first appointment I inquired on the types of machines used, whether or not they would be suitable for my naturally tan skin. Upon my request, I was given the name of the machine used and I did a little research on them to find out that they were in fact suitable for dark skin tones.
Initially I wasn’t impressed with the outside of the building but once I entered, I was relieved to see that it was a clean and updated interior and not some scummy low budget place. My first appointment required some extra time to fill out paper work and such, I might have waited 15 – 20 minutes to be seen after turning in the papers but I have since then, been there for a total of 3 sessions and have had to wait less than 5 minutes to see the RN.
I have already seen great results in just a short amount of time and I know that I will likely need 8 sessions to achieve the results I’m looking for. This deal was a steal compared to what other Groupons I’ve seen before and since then. As a matter of fact, after my first session I went home and saw such great results on my under arms that the 2^nd appointment I inquired on the cost of having my legs done as well and to my surprise they honored the groupon deal price for that too!
The RNs (and front desk) have been kind, compassionate and personable. I understand that having to reschedule is a bit annoying (Fortunately, it didn’t happen to me. Sounds like that was during my 6 wk wait for session #3) but it wouldn’t be enough for me to say that this place and the groupon deal isn’t worth it. The further I am in this process the more I think about purchasing more sessions for different areas. It’s truly worth it!
