Pastor Roger and his wife Cindy felt a calling from the Lord to start a church here in Anaheim. after meeting with a small group God blessed it and provided this building to come together and worship the Lord. come and join us!

Pastor Roger is the Sr. Pastor here at Calvary Chapel Open Door. He has grew up here in Anaheim. Graduated from Anaheim High School. Worked after college at Anaheim High School for almost 20 years then went into ministry at Calvary Chapel South Bay and then was called to return to Anaheim and plant CC Open Door.

I’ve been attending this church for a year now. I have become involved with the women’s Bible study, I have attended a Baptismal and helped with the homeless breakfast. I’ve found with the pastor, he has a teaching method when speaking the word and have gotten used to it. My mother an law who went to ministry school, who came to visit, loved it, says the pastor is direct and does not beat around the bush. I love this church it feels like home. I love that you are not bombarded to join or follow Christ, or guilt ridden to give when the collection basket comes by. It’s all by your own personal convictions, which I have learned to be the Holy Spirt, of which God has placed in each of us to guide us. Hence, a church that is lead by Christ. The people all still very welcoming as the day I first attended with my children.
