Dave was kind, knowledgeable and professional. He gave us good advice, he helped us maximize our deductions (in legit ways) and he did both in a friendly way. Our former tax guy retired and we tried Dave out based on his Unilocal reviews. We won’t go anywhere else from now on.

We’ve been using Burghardt and Associates for many years. Dave does a great job on our personal income taxes, and they are always accurate and done promptly. Paula does the monthly accounting and payroll for our business as well.

Dave and his staff have been doing accounting, book keeping and tax returns for busineses both large and small in addition to individuals like myself for at least 13 years. I’ve been going to him the past 12 years. When I first went to him, he found other deductions my previous tax guy missed and got me more $$ back (legally of course)! More money back is always good, right? Of course!
Aside from that, you remember those two words? Customer service?

You know the type, right? Dave is not like that at all, he’s very personable and (it seems like) no matter how busy he is, will take the time to talk to you. It doesn’t matter if it’s about family, real-​estate, sports, your last vacation, cars, etc… he WILL take the time to talk to you and he’s sincere about it.
So if you are shopping for an accountant or someone to do your taxes, Dave Burghardt is the man!
