Anaheim Carpet & Flooring

I needed carpet and tile in my house and I have to say that I was very pleased with Anaheim Carpets. Scott was very knowledgeable in the products and helping me decide what was right for me within my budget. Very professional as we’re his installers. They did a great job and even vacuumed. I would highly recommend them.

I too am amazed of the 5 star ratings. I spoke to Scott over the phone who committed that he would get us the best price in town. First bad sign, he came to my home to measure our floors but he forgot his measuring tape so i had to lend him mine. While he was at my home we spoke about the job and everything that we wanted to do. Second, he said he would have an estimate ready for me by Monday. When Monday came around i had not received the estimate. Third and final strike, I sent a follow up txt Scott about the estimate but i never heard back from him. If he is not replying to my txt or calls before i any money was given to do the job, i can’t imagine they would call back after the down payment and work has begun. Not very reliable.

Recently had carpet and vinyl plank flooring installed at business and I am very pleased with it. Installed on schedule with no problem. I also had them re carpet my house and they were the lowest price of 3 bids. They did an excellent job and also made custom built runners and area rugs out of remnants, for just a little extra.

I cannot recommend Anaheim Carpet & Flooring enough! Scott and Augie were great, very informative and not sales-​many at all. I had been to many places before this and I found their prices to be very competitive. The installers were great, they met the timing expectation I was given and did really good work. Everything came out beautifully! My house looks amazing and it’s totally thanks to these guys! Definitely check them out!

I had a great experience with the sales team at Anaheim Carpet & Flooring initially but when after the installation of the carpets were done, not so much. All throughout the house where the carpet were redone, I found sharp tacks sticking up where the carpet transitions to the other types of flooring & all along the entrance or hallway. I & my boyfriend have stepped on it several times already & called a few days after it was all install because I was out of town. Since the first initial call on Monday to Kenny to notify him of the tacks, he said they would have the installation guys come back out & give me an update when they do. I called back on Thursday because I got no updates or had any kind of communication that anyone was going to come back out & correct the situation so I call & Kenny is out for a situation & I completely understand that & get assisted by Auggie. He said he would reach out to the installers & get it situated maybe by Sat but will call to let me know. Didn’t hear anything on Friday so I call back to get some kind of update so I know if I need to be home for the installers or not & Auggie is unavailable. I think Scott answered my call & told me something like I’m sure it’s handled & Auggie will get back to you. Now it’s Saturday & have not heard a thing & will probably just get a hammer to it myself & correct the tacks sticking up that your team should of taken care of from the very get go before leaving.
Also to my disappointment, I got LVT done in the bathroom & I felt that the installers took advantage that I was not there & laid the tiles in a way that was easier for them but does not look that great. I felt the whole time that Anaheim carpet was about quality & their team knows what they are doing because they have been doing it for so long but looking a the floor it doesn’t look up to par to their talk. It doesn’t look bad but doesn’t look great either. You spend all this money to make your home look better just for it to look mediocre. All in all I’m disappointed with my experience & customer service with Anaheim Carpet & Flooring and would’t recommend them

We recently had our old carpet replaced by Anaheim Carpet. Overall, they get an average rating for an average job.
The guys in the showroom were great. We met with a couple of them (Matt and Kenny) when we were researching and picking out the carpet. They were extremely helpful and friendly. They took time to show us a variety of choices, explain the pros, cons & features of each and answered questions. It was very casual and informative conversation. Not at all pushy or a sales driven. That is why we chose them over other companies and at this point it probably would have been a 5 star review.
However, when it came down to the actual installation of the carpet… meh, average. I won’t say they did a «horrible» job, but I wouldn’t really call it a «great» job either. The installation crew were friendly and fairly professional. But the overall workmanship seemed more like get the carpet down, get paid, get home. They said the number of rooms and stairs would be a good full day’s work so I was a little surprised when they were wrapping up by early-​mid afternoon. I’m all for efficiency, but not when it sacrifices quality. The carpet itself looks ok. A few of the details like seams and staples could have been a little cleaner. The main reason they lost points is the collateral damage they did on my brand new freshly installed baseboards. I get it. Carpet installation is rough work and I was expecting a few touch ups afterwards. But 8 – 9 gouges deep enough to require filling and sanding to go along with a couple dozen other smaller dents and scuffs. Several of the baseboard corners that were previously filled and seamless are now cracked back open. A little beyond what I consider «touch ups». And I’m pretty sure they cracked one of the legs on a desk moving it. So a little disappointed with the attention to details and level of care.
So yeah… not a «bad» job and review, but not a «great» one either. Like I said… average. We were wavering between 3 and 4 stars, but rounded down because it would also have been nice if they called to confirm the installation time and/​or followed up to see how things went.

I had a few minutes just now on my lunch break, stopped by here and speaking with Kenny (who I might add, is dressed for success), looking at different Flooring options for our breakroom area and showed me these Luxury Vinyl Tiles that look at feel like real slate! And there is no grout to clean, and he impressed me by taking out a hammer and hitting the floor with it, did not dent or ding, he told me this is a bulletproof floor, and I believe it after seeing what he did to it, we sat down at his table and calculated the cost for me and I was blown away. He is insisting on dropping by in a little bit to show me colors and walk the job, true professional!!!

This review is just for customer service. Seven or eight weeks ago, I went to Anaheim Carpet and talked to Scott, the owner. What a nice man. Very helpful, too. I narrowed my choices to 4 but it is almost impossible (for me) to make a decision based on a 5″ square so Scott told me that he could get larger samples from the manufacturer. Excellent! He called a week or so later to say that the samples weren’t in yet due to weather related problems and would I please take home the little swatches. I did and was able to rule two of the four choices out. I was going on vacation and Scott said he would call me when I got back regarding the larger carpet pieces. Instead, I had to call him. Still no samples. I understand that short of driving to wherever the samples were supposedly coming from, this is pretty much out of Scott’s control. What was in his control is keeping in touch. Two weeks ago, I called and talked to Scott and he told me that a big box had just come in and maybe my samples were in it. He would call me as soon as he went through it and just to make sure I got that call, I gave him my phone number… again. I reckon he must be looking through that box still because I’ve yet to get that call.
In spite of feeling that my (admittedly small) bit of business if not very important here, I went back in today with the intention of picking a carpet and hoping it would look as I was able to envision it from the little swatch. Whomever was working asked me if they could help and I said that I needed a price and walked back to the sample I was interested in. Five minutes later, I walked back to the area where the gentleman was still on the computer. He said he just needed to finish up the email he was working on so I went back to wait. Five minutes later the guy was still at his desk and I left. An unfinished email isn’t going anywhere. An ignored customer will.
I really wanted to do business here. Scott was nice and knowledgeable. Previous Unilocal reviews said he could be trusted and would do a good job. Sorry that I’m unable to attest to this from personal experience.

Today my husband and I went into Anaheim Carpet and I have to say, we were definitely impressed. We were greeted immediately by Scott. After explaining what we were looking for and looking through their many samples; which I must say the showroom is set up great! Scott was not only able to get exactly what we wanted but was the lowest price. We look forward to working with Anaheim Carpet again in the future.
If you want to see a showroom that actually has samples as part of their floors or if you are looking for a place where you can feel at ease while figuring out the perfect carpet or tile. this is the place. my husband and I highly recommend this place.

In fact I have one (1) invoice from your company for $ 10,646.25 for the Palm Desert condo, as well as another invoice for over $ 6,753.20 for the defective carpet for our Newport Coast residence. I am more than glad to print these invoices and photographs of your defective carpet and shoddy workmanship online. Additionally, I have retained a copy of the original invoices, copy of payments and your companies emails.
We in fact spent over $ 17,000.00 and your sales staff and ownership never replaced the defective padding and carpet.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, SINCE THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE THEIR CARPETS, WORKMANSHIP OR PADDING! LUKE SCHNEIDER and SCOTT will only collect your cash, ask you to pay 50% upfront before they even order your carpet and padding and never followed up on their shoddy defective carpets and defective padding!

My husband took on the role of choosing carpeting and décor for his entire office building of 24,000 square feet, in Irvine. Scott assisted us from beginning to end. He was never pushy, just knowledgeable and happy to share information. When we wanted time/​space to make decisions, he seemed to sense it and he would step back. No rush, just help.
As we got more into the process, it was really interesting to compare Scott & his professional crew to the other subcontractors that had been hired out to do building, painting, electrical, and other by a general contractor. Scott’s people were beyond reproach. While the general contractor’s workers chatted, left fast food trash, played jam boxes, showed up late, etc., Scott’s people were timely, polite and clearly there to simply do their job. It was night and day; our building contractor should have been embarrassed by his people in comparison to Scott’s team. Further, the GC should have been embarrassed by how much he oversaw his 20 or so people versus how often Scott oversaw the work his crew was doing.
When there was a problem, through no fault of Scott’s, with our carpeting getting shipped on schedule from the manufacturer, we panicked (movers were scheduled to move office furniture in and employees scheduled to start work); Scott was a calm in the storm, suggesting alternatives and ultimately cutting us a really good deal, at his financial detriment.
Oh, I should also mention the reason we were intrigued by Anaheim Carpet from the get-​go, prior to any of the stellar customer service noted above: We visited carpet store after carpet store for two days straight, and saw the same carpets over and over. And over. So, finally, instead of looking for something we liked, we had resigned ourselves to looking for the best price on something we could «live with» in commercial carpeting.
Then we walked into Anaheim Carpet and found that Scott’s store had UNIQUE carpeting; samples we had not seen in the other stores. And lots of them. We ended up sitting on the floor for an hour just going through books!
BOTTOM LINE: DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME SHOPPING ANYWHERE ELSE. THIS PLACE HAS VARIETY NOT FOUND DOWN THE STREET; THE BUYERS HAVE GOOD TASTE; THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS STELLAR; THE PRICES ARE MORE THAN REASONABLE

I was ready to drive over to this place based upon the positive Unilocal reviews but the Contractor’s State License # 943 609 was cancelled. Bummer!
As noted by Sean Hutchinson, he has obtained a new Contractors License with a different RMO. Unfortunately for me we needed the carpet and tile installed at the end of January before we moved into the house so his update arrived too late for us.

So my office carpet was getting hideous and my lease was coming up so I started to look for a carpet company. I got quotes from 3 places and Anaheim Carpet was by far the best choice. Some places didn’t even want to do it because it involved moving heavy cubicles around and the other office furniture at my office. They did a great job and I was really happy with the color I picked. The office looks much more professional and my landlord was happy I was able to find a place that was much less than the company he usually uses for his building. The installers were really cool guys and they were great during the whole process because they were able to put everything back the way it was.
Then I moved to a house so I needed new carpet for my new house and for condo I moved out of since I am going to rent it out. The prices were again fair (Didn’t really shop it around this time because I was happy with the job they did for me my office) but didn’t really feel I got the best service… It was difficult to get my emails replied to and I got the feeling that they didn’t really value me as a customer… The installer was got upset that my condo still had a few belonging in there because he wanted everything to be out of the condo. He just threw my belongings in the balcony and didn’t bother to put them back in when finished. I also wanted a quote for my kitchen flooring but couldn’t get a quote for awhile so I ended up having to follow up with them. (I went elsewhere for the kitchen flooring) Besides these issues overall the quality of the carpet and installation is excellent and the price is good so I am overall happy. Quality of the carpet and price gets 5 stars minus half a star so overall a 4.5 star experience for me.

I had my floors installed by Anaheim Carpet & Flooring and I am very happy with their work. Jonathan who came to install was very professional and made every cut perfectly and knew exactly what needed to be done and took his time to ensure it will look right. Scott the owner of the store was very straightforward and was able to beat the other two written quotes I have got. I am very happy you can see the quality of there work and materials they used. We would like to share our recent great experiences with Anaheim Carpet and Flooring. We had them come out on two installations, one with carpet and the other on hardwood floors. They deserve five stars overall for their professional services from start to finish. And of course their prices beat many others including the mega stores.
We came to the store on many occasions for the quotes and sampling materials, Kenny and Scott took the time to listen to us and recommended the right products that fit our needs and budget. Kenny was very patient, addressed all of our concerns and answered technical questions on the entire project. This was the first time we’ve ever experienced a sale presentation without any pressure and we left with feelings of trust and confident in our purchase decision.
The hardwood installation crews led by Daniel performed excellent. Not only on the job well done, but they were on time, had passion in their works, listened and accommodated our concerns, very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure their work were done beautifully. The process went smoothly and according to plan, and we are very happy with the final product.
We would use Anaheim Carpet and Flooring again for any future project and would recommend them to anyone. It is hard nowadays to find a place with good work ethics, professionalism, price competitiveness with honesty and trust worthy. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with this company. We just bought a house and wanted to refloor the upstairs, but we had no idea who to call. We had Empire come out (their catchy phone number/​jingle permanently ingrained into memory) and they gave us a quote but their selection was very disappointing and their price was higher than we thought. We had a few other «Big Company» floorers come out with similar results. I found Anaheim Carpet & Flooring on Unilocal and gave them a shot just to find out what else was out there.
The guys who run the showroom were incredibly honest and communicative, they weren’t pushy and they talked with me like a human rather than at me like a customer. Their quote was so much lower than the other guys that I was able to upgrade to much better material. Everything went exactly according to the timetable they gave me, and the work was beautiful. The installer was very friendly and I got caught up chatting with him a few times on the installation day — I definitely got the impression that everyone I interacted with truly loved their work and they were interested in doing it right rather than just getting the job done.
If you’re shopping around like I was, I highly recommend this company over any of the big names you’ve seen on commercials.

Carpet day, hooray, hooray!
Mom’s lived in her home for almost 10 years. When she moved in she seriously considered recarpeting, but the existing carpet was new. Why add unnecessary expense to her overall moving cost.
Plus the stair lift was of major concern. How would they replace carpet on the stairs with the lift in the way. So year after year she put off recarpeting.
Over the years the carpet held up. This year she announced, «Time to replace it.»
We began searching for a vendor:

— Newspaper (frustrating, blind search)
— Pennysaver (calls resulted in no shows)
— Big box stores (lack of passion)

Found Anaheim Carpet and Flooring on Unilocal.Their many wonderful reviews and a visit to their showroom clinched the sale.
Met Scott and Kenny at their shop. Their attention to detail, wide variety of product, passion for their family-​owned business and personal guarantees impressed.
Finally their suggestions and guidance helped us zero in on the right carpet at the right price. They focused on wearability, cost, padding, color. Mom was replacing a very light beige with carpet that wouldn’t show a lot of lint/​dirt and foot prints. She hosts a variety of guests, including three very active grandsons under age 10.
Next day Kenny came by with samples to measure and assess details that might complicate installation — the lift. No problem, he said. His installer would remove the lift, lay carpet and replace it.
Date was set for installation. We wanted carpet before Christmas. «We don’t install days it rains,» cautioned Kenny.
We anxiously monitored weather reports as we stashed away small furniture and personal items.
Carpet day dawned sunny, bright and beautiful.
Team Hugo showed up on time, friendly, polite, ready to rock and roll with the exact nap and color of carpet we selected.
They worked quickly using a common driveway to roll out and cut. Mom was especially concerned that her pre-​cautioned neighbors were not inconvenienced. We monitored the job from the association’s club house, dropping in occasionally in case questions or problems arose. All went smoothly.
Within hours we had new carpet.
Hugo took special care with the stair lift making sure it worked correctly and looked perfect (wires streamlined) before they left. While he double checked the lift, at Mom’s direction, his team re-​placed furniture. With a final «Feliz Navidad» Team Hugo was on their way out, sleigh stacked with well-​worn carpet and padding. :o)
An hour later it started to rain.
