After many years, 40+ of bad haircuts, I accidentally ended up at the Clipper and I have to say I was apprehensive. My hair is a muddle when folks don’t understand hair with a slight wave and I really wanted my hair to fall in place as is does when the person doing the work really understands hair. My partner and I traveled 60 miles round trip from Camano Island to have fun in Anacortes and get a bit done by having our hair cut. For sure, I wasn’t disappointed. Lee listened to my description and gave me a fantastic cut that took added time to stack my hair. This week I am headed back for a second cut even though we don’t have time for fun. The long drive is well worth it. Additionally, I have learned that Lee supports his community by donating time, and that is the type of business I want to support. There wasn’t any dog present. As an aside, if you don’t want to be bitten by a dog don’t approach the dog unless you have permission from the owner. Animals have feelings too and they have no idea what you have in mind, so don’t go looking for problems.

Great haircut at a reasonable price! I recommend appointments as he is pretty popular and can get too busy sometimes.

My husband stop by here to get a haircut at the time he was busy so he told him they he had availability at 5&530 my husband told him we would like to have both time slots so our son could get a haircut as well. So my husband had to come back two hours later not that big of deal. But headed to anacortes fighting through traffic to get there my husband pulls up in the front of clippers helping our son out of the car and the barber gets on his trike and says I am done for the day I ‘ll be back at 8 and then took off! Are you kidding me! That is poor customer service! He was recommended by a friend and we will never go there again! Gave it two tries. If your not a regular don’t bother going here!

Had a good local reputation, but my experience was less than favorable. They keep a dog loose, which would be fine if it didn’t think biting customers was a fun game. They also don’t like it if a customer offers any discipline to the animal. The barbers are friendly enough, but for my visit he cut what he thought I needed, not what I explicitly asked for. Bottom line, if you are already a regular, you’ll keep going. If you are looking for a barber in Anacortes, I recommend you keep looking.
