This deli changed ownership in recent months and the place is now SCARY! Amity needed to expand it’s good food choices — a mix of convenient and healthy, not totally processed and fried. How hard is it to offer freshly prepared goods(baked, brewed, pre made, whatever!)? Answer: very hard if you have no experience in restaurant business, and no concept or business plan other than managing a profit margin and gearing yourself to school kids and liquor store clientele who only have $ 5 for a meal. Those great deli sandwiches Tami used to make are now on moldy bread with questionable meat products. This place has become a dirty grease-pit. You’ll find better, fresher options across the street at Amity Foods.

We were going through this little town on our motorcycle and happened into this restaurant for breakfast. It was fantastic, they made their own bread and jam and the food was great. Friendly owner and staff, we looked for other small town family owned restaurants the next 4 days of our cycle trip around Oregon but this place set the standard, very good, been telling all who will listen, and they are surprised I have anything good to say about Oregon. Go Huskies!
