Our focus is to produce beautiful riesling and pinot noir, both perfectly suited to the cool climate of the Willamette Valley. Our approach to winemaking is simple. We seek natural balance in the vineyard and cellar to show the true expression of terroir in our wines. We are passionate about biodynamic and organic farming. We believe the greatest depth, flavors and balance in a wine are achieved by blending. We hope you enjoy our wines with good friends, family and wonderful cuisine! Cheers!
History
Established in 1998.
Founded in 1998, Brooks is a reflection of the visionary Portland native, Jimi Brooks. His reverence for the land and vine made him a leader in the biodynamic farming movement and the crafting of beautiful riesling and pinot noir.
While Jimi is no longer with us, his dynamic spirit lives on through his wines, family and friends. With the outpouring of generosity and friendship of the Oregon wine community, Brooks Winery continues stronger than ever. Jimi’s son, Pascal who was his ultimate source of passion for life, is the sole owner of the winery and his sister, Janie Brooks Heuck has remarkably volunteered to lead it. Staying true to Jimi’s approach and philosophies, the wines are made by Jimi’s Assistant Winemaker, Chris Williams who has been at the helm since 2004.
Our winery is located in a old Brooks prune facility built in the 1950’s. It is charming and rustic and is a great place to enjoy!

Chris Williams has been our winemaker since 2004. Chris was taught by our founder, Jimi Brooks from 1999 to 2004 while the two of them worked together at WillaKenzie and Mayara wineries.
