Shabby Chic! Shabby Chic!
Ohhhhh, what a find this place is! Right downtown Amherst, you have to make a pit stop to see the vintage things in this little shop. The owner is super friendly, and dressed beautifully, I might add.
The store is totally shabbed-​out – this woman has the decorator’s touch for sure. Beautiful hand-​painted furniture, old hats and clothes (only the best, not a bunch of junk).
Jewelry, wedding dresses, all sorts of vintage shabby this & that.
Next time I go I’m going to bring a couple hundred dollars to blow here. It’s so worthy.

So, I am seriously going to be in trouble with my daughter for spilling the beans, but this is one of my favorite places to shop! Located on Main Street in Amherst VA, you never know what you will find in this little cottage. I LOVE their antique linens, jewelry, hats. A VERY pleasant owner, reasonable prices and always new inventory. I will drive out of the way to stop in and peek through each room.
