The designer gave me a chance to get a refund if I changed my mind. The refund was suppose to be received over 2 weeks ago and I don’t have it after being promised by the manager that he would take care of it personally. Also the designer and I had very different taste and he was unable to see that. The dress and the sales was not about me. The dresses are not unique.
Don’t go here there are better options

If I could give this place negative five stars, I would. I had to rush to the area upon my Dad’s passing, without proper clothing for his funeral. I found a pair of black pants, and brought them to this shop to be shortened. I picked them up the next day in the afternoon. Tried them on, and they were two inches shorter than what was measured, one leg was noticeably shorter than the other, and the stitching was absolutely visible. Not even pressed. Horrible and unwearable. And, the tags were missing, no less. Brought them in the next day, with an hour to get to Canada for my Dad’s wake. The other seamstress was unsure if they could even be fixed, but said it would take her two hours to try. I didn’t have two hours. I had to rush out and find new pants with ten minutes to go. I just left them there, not being able to deal with the double talk and absurd excuses that the guy working there was spouting. «They can be fixed, we just need time». «It was a rush job» etc etc. All to not refund my money. How about, «We are so sorry and embarrassed that we have put you through this. We stand by our work, and this is unacceptable. Please accept our profound apologies, and of course we will refund your money». No.
The store refuses to refund the money for the pants. The owner, Jimmy Lee, said he would send them to me and I could return them, even though the tags are missing. How is it ethical for me to return pants that have been ruined by a bad alteration? These people added stress to one of the worst weeks of my life. They have no morals or ethics. They were supposed to be sent to me a few weeks ago, and I have not received them. When I call the owner Jimmy Lee pretends he’s someone else, and puts me on the phone with a sales associate. Not even kidding! Then I am told that they were sent to «corporate» in NYC. There is no corporate in NYC. It’s truly unbelievable. These people obviously are used to these situations judging by other reviews, and will lie without logic or shame. So I guess they will not return the pants to me. Which is stealing. And illegal.

I am giving this store one star simply because the store manager of this store is really rude and she give horrible customer service. I had my wedding on Sept 18 2015. I ordered my daughters dress from the store and I had no issues the young girl that I worked with was very accommodating and nice I am sorry I do not know her name. So I took my sister back the Saturday before my wedding because she could not find a dress. We found one but due to the time we had before the wedding we ordered a size 14 and the woman promised me the dress in 2 days. Well she did not call when the dress was in and we called her. We picked up the dress and we realized the dress was a size16/​17 basically a 3x we called the store the day Of my wedding and she basically told us «honey that’s what alterations are for» when she knew we did not have time to alter the dress that’s WHY we ORDERED a SIZE 14! She wanted us to bring the dress and pay for alterations when SHE ordered the wrong size !! All I have to say is I feel really sorry for her staff in there .she is ridiculous I will never shop there again!!!

While I enjoy this store for simply what it is… I’m a girly girl who likes to have an occasion to get all dressed up for, this place has annoyed me for a variety of reasons. This is the third time I’ve purchased a gown from them. Positives, you can get one of a kind gowns for that special occasion. They have a lot to choose from and a staff that is all too eager to get you to buy. Negatives, this store is cramped and is jammed full of gowns with no where to turn around. I feel the gowns are overpriced.
When I went, I was greeted by a flamboyant gentleman with a «hello gorgeous» (gag) and he proceeded to whisk me around pulling gowns off racks without even asking if I like them. He was on the hard press to sell a gown to me. I explained that I wasn’t interesting in spending several hundred dollars on a gown for a gala I go to once a year (I have a closet full of them). He told me on more than one occasion to not be cheap and that I wasn’t going to find any gowns like the ones he has. It was also during Martin Luther King day weekend, and he was trying to sell me a gown at 50% off as a special. I highly doubt that, even at 50% off, he is losing any money on these gowns. So that just goes to show how high mark up is.
After the gentleman had the gown sold to me, all he kept saying was how mad at himself he was for giving me such a great deal. $ 300 dollar dress for $ 150. At first it was sort of cute and tolerable then it just got obnoxious. If you’re going to «give me a deal» dont give me grief about it for the rest of the time I’m in the store.
They didn’t have the size for the gown I wanted and told me they could get it from another store and they’d call me when it came in (on monday). Monday came and went with no call. Tuesday came and I called and was told it wasn’t there yet. I ran some errands that day anyway and called once more to see if maybe it was there so I didn’t have to run back out (with 3 kids!). When I called again, she said «oh yeah it got here yesterday» ???
All in all, I like their gowns. I obviously keep going back for more since I am an owner of three now! I just have a problem with how obnoxious they are to sell sell sell. They put the pressure on and its a bit over-​bearing.
