Transitowne Resale of Amherst

I needed a new car… rather hubby needed my old car. Perusing the internet I found a car that I was interested in so I called Transitowne and spoke with a salesman and made plans to check it out the following day. Went in and the salesman suggested that we fill out the necessary paperwork to see what kind of money we had to work with… ok. Saw the car and it wasn’t really what we wanted, checked out the lot saw another car but still not really what we wanted when the financial guy comes up to us and starts pressuring us hard about what will take to get this car now… us «not sure it is what we want» him…“why did you fill out the inquiry paperwork if you weren’t buying today?” us «your salesman told us to fill out the paperwork but we want to see what else is out there» him…“good luck finding something else for that price anywhere else and you shouldn’t have filled out the paperwork if you weren’t buying today” us…“what percentage rate are we looking at with this car?” him «I know it but I am not going to tell you unless you are buying it» us.“thanks for your time, we are going somewhere else” Dan the salesman was nice Rob the financial guy not so much. We went to Northtown and found exactly what we were looking for with no pressure from either sales or financial. So suck it Rob.
