History

Established in 1988.

Sawicki Real Estate is a family business managed by Rick Sawicki. The agency was founded by Ernestine («Tini») Sawicki in 1988. Tini was a Realtor with 40 years of service until her passing in 2014. She received many professional honors and provided leadership in local and state realty boards as well as boards of community not-​for-​profits. She was long time chair of the state and local REALTOR® Professional Standards Committees. Rick Sawicki continues the family tradition of the highest professional and ethical standards in serving clients and in teaching and commitment to public service. Work with an agency you can trust!

Business Owner

Rick Sawicki has lived in the Pioneer Valley/​Five College area his entire life. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Amherst, has coached youth hockey for more than 30 years, and teaches a real estate licensing class through UMass continuing ed. His REALTOR® designations include GRI – Graduate Realtor Institute, SRES – Senior Residential Specialist, LMC – Loss Mitigation Certificate, and e-​Pro – Technology Pro. Rick is an active member of the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley where he is Treasurer, on the Board of Directors, and on the Grievance Committee. Rick is an Alternate on the State Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® and has served on MAR’s Government Affairs and Professional Standards Committees. Rick has been in sales for 30 years and has a BS in Business Administration from Nichols College.
