History

Established in 1992.

Nashua Outdoor Power Equipment is a continuation of The Osgood Hardware power equipment division. The business was separated from the hardware store in 1989 but continued to operate side by side until moving to Broad St in 1996. Since then they have grown and moved to Amherst St in Nashua. In 2002 Nashua Outdoor Power opened another location in Amherst NH for larger tractors. They continue to represent John Deere, Ariens, Honda, Stihl, Husqvarna, Echo, Exmark, Walker, Wright Stander, Red Max, Gravely, Boss, Mantis, Toro and many more. They have always welcomed every make for service, parts and warranty. In 1999 they opened a rental division named A&C Outdoor Equipment Rentals which offers skid steers, excavators, boom lifts, chippers, compressors, pumps, overseeders, aerators, mowers and almost any yard product you can think of. In 2011 they started an online parts service labeled Pro​Mow​ing​Parts​.com and continue to try to keep up with customers ever-​changing needs and expectations.

Fred and Kristyne Hayden H.

Business Owner

Fred has worked in the power equipment industry since he was 14 years of age. He started as an employee in high school and continued to work seasonally through 4 years of college. After college he married Kristyne and gravitated back to the power equipment industry and helped manage a successful dealership in southern MA. Fred then got into the automotive field for a brief period of time before opening his own small equipment repair shop with two partners. After a couple of years He and Kristyne were offered the Nashua Outdoor Power business which they purchased and ran as a two person operation with total annual sales of 35k. Nashua Outdoor Power Equipment Repair LLC is now comprised of two stores, nearly 50 employees and over 7m in annual sales.
