I have lived in Amherst my whole life and have seen the evolution of Moulton’s and they’re better than ever! They make amazing wraps, subs and pizza– all fresh, yummy and to-go! They also have a lot of local foods and pastries available. This is my weekend spot, just love it!

Moulton’s Market is great place to get what you need when you want something delicious and made fresh, they offer homemade soups, salads, fresh made sandwiches and great pizza. Located in Amherst Village its an awesome spot for lunch, my wife and I take the kids there sometimes after school. I find it has a selection of all types of common staples and gourmet cheeses, meats, and snacks. This of course is not a supermarket by a great venue to pickup something quick and support your local businesses. The staff is always friendly and helpful. In all its a clean and convenient small market, with great food and I enjoy every visit.

I asked for no onions on my italian sub and they completely disregarded my request. Sloppy in my opinion. They somehow manage to put both mayo and oil vinegar in their italian. That is disgusting, nowhere else do they just plop mayo on an italian sub without at least asking. worst italian sub ive ever had will not be coming back. this place has shitty employees who rusb you when you order and clearly dont listen when someone is ordering

I have ordered here from time to time. I like their pizza its solid. I when in the other day to try a sandwhich I had the Turkey Breast with Mozzarella, Roasted Peppers, Lettuce, Tomato and Balsamic Vinaigrette for $ 6.95. I love this sandwhich I would get inot but everything was great so. Their buffalo chicken sandwhich was great too didnt have the traditional chicken fingers but deli meat meat with buffalo sauce. The only thing that keeps this place down is ordering process and lack of parking.

Moulton’s is one of the only stores in Amherst but it is quite a good ma and pa store. Very basic sandwiches to-go although it seems as though you can order more expansive options in the back. The staff had chilly exteriors, asked them a question and got a cold response.

WHen you compare it to other businesses around, Moulton’s is great! That’s because there are no other businesses around. So, if you are in the center of Amherst and need something to eat,(or some quick groceries) the options stop here. The selection is small and the staff has been very cold the last few times I’ve been in(out of necessity). They also stocked wine that had gone bad. They had a display near the door-with the constant changing of temperature in the winter(FREEZING when the door opens), there was no hope for this wine. The new(ish) sub section is great though. I’ll give them that!

I’m writing an update to my last review because the owners of Moulton’s seem to have got it together a bit and are showing signs of real progress toward being a destination place for morning coffee and donut commuters, and weekend excursionists. They have reconfigured the layout of the aisles and added extra room for roaming around tables, and also are hiring friendlier counter help these days. The dumpster remains as an unwelcoming eyesore into the heart of the historic village area(too bad they can’t build some sort of housing around it or move it to the back); but all things aside, the place has foudn it’s stride and I think they’ll only continue to improve.

As Homer would say — mmmmm… donuts. Homemade real ones, not the plastic kind they serve at Dunks. The pizza is really good, and several trips to the deli counter haven’t disappointed in the sandwich department.

Here we go – yet another great local business keeping the residents of Southern New Hampshire in good food and drink. My experience is mainly with the deli — I am pretty much obsessed with their veggie deluxe sandwich, a wrap spread with pesto mayo and stuffed with havarti dill cheese, sprouts, roasted red peppers, avocado, cucumbers, and tomatoes. SOGOOD. My family is so happy with their more meaty choices that it’s a weekly stop for sandwiches. Beyond that, Moulton’s stocks H&H bagels(one of the best bagel makers in NYC), and supports local businesses like A&E Custom Roastery. Moulton’s Market also hosts a weekly wine tasting(I haven’t been, though), and carries specialty and gourmet products along with produce and standard deli treats. I love little stores like these, and am happy that a place like this exists in little Amherst, NH!
