Lasertron is awesome! So fun with all ages of kids and adults! Look forward to our next visit!

Fun for kids of all ages… Even the 38 year ones. Fun games and laser tag… Food its to be expected. More like fast food than gourmet but again that that is to be expected.

Very fun, they have a lot of group options and they always make sure you play with a large group if you are just there with a couple people. It is a lot of fun but they tend to let VERY small children play which, is nice for them but kind of crappy if you are one of the MANY adults there that are «not» running around the arena to play laser tag.
I still loved it. Great experience. Definitely going back!

Visiting here as an adult is surely a much different experience than what I remember as a child. The place has been totally updated. The bright colored folding cafeteria tables have been transformed into sleek black and silver bar tables with stools. They also offer go-​karts and minigolf now, too.
The whole card issuing system has been updated too. I remember going in this place and having to wait for my handwritten lasertron card to be laminated for me. Now, they give you a card with a QR code that you register on a computer and add your photo to it with the webcam. I was super impressed with the updates.
They have a full bar — which I enjoyed after running around for an half an hour playing laser tag with some kids less than half my age. My group of friends sat there afterward and enjoyed a pizza and some beers. The pizza was absolutely terrible but I wasn’t expecting much out of the food there. Either way, I had a great time with my friends.
This is one of those places that I couldn’t go to very often but maybe once every few years I would have a good time.

Lasertron, oh how nice a place you are. This is my second time coming here, but both times I’ve only done the Laser tag which is lots of fun! Hope to come back next time to do more than just that. I enjoyed going there with the Unilocal community, and happy to have met a few new Unilocalers. It was a great event planned, and looking forward to many more while I am here.
Besides its being a little expensive, overall the service there is great and the workers are very friendly. Especially like to thank the staff who helped us out during our event during both games. He explained things in a kindly and humorous manner, even to the younger kids who joined us in the second game.
By the way the Cheese Pizza was great.

The legal place to shoot people and get away with it!
Have been coming to Lasertron ever since I was a young child back when their t shirts said it’s better in the dark. Not overly sure what they meant by it but I believe they were referring to the fun filled play of Lasertron !
Since those days the place has gone through great updates. And the technology of the packs and guns are awesome. New modes such as spy mode and deactivator really come in handy when waging laser war on the green team.
Not only is there laser tag but they also have an arcade, a go cart track outside, and my favorite cyber sport!
Bring the wife! bring the girlfriend! bring the mistress! bring the kids! bring someone else’s kids! There is something for everyone!

Excellent and reasonably priced. I recommend checking out their Facebook specials and taking advantage of them. They have several attractions besides laser tag, go-​karts, arcade, mini golf and cyber sport which is a kind of bumper car like thing where you chase a ball around. I only did the gokarts but they are electric and very high tech, they are controlled by a tablet and the cars talk to you while using them. They seem very safe as well, someone bumped me and I didn’t even feel it. A huge improvement over other go karts I have been on in the past. They also assign you a car and post your times on the screen so you can see how you did. Plus there is no gasoline smell or dirt since the cars are electric, they do not smell at all. The whole facility is extremely clean and well kept including the restrooms which were spotless. There is ample space and comfortable chairs for those who are waiting plus an observation room for laser tag and an outdoor patio for the gokarts. The whole facility is also nicely air conditioned so it’s great for a hot day. I went to a couple other fun centers which did not have air conditioning in the arcade area/​main building which meant it got incredibly hot, not sure if it was broken or what was going on but it was hot enough to make me leave instantly. Overall I would say this is the nicest fun center in the area, I will be back to hopefully try some of the other attractions, and play laser tag which I haven’t played since I was a kid!

Lasertron: great, great fun. I’ve been coming to Lasertron since I was a small child and have played countless games of laser tag, cyber sport, and have even participated in my fair share of go-​kart races… not too mention spending some time in the arcade.
Lasertag: So fun. Granted I enjoy it because I know some of the inside tips and tricks like where to stand to shoot the other team’s base without having to stand directly in their zone. Come on though, who doesn’t like running around like kids, shooting each other (for fun), and laughing? It’s awesome and I love it. The different modes make it even more fun. Getting the high score for the game allows you to gloat. Love it.
Cyber Sport: I don’t know why but every time I partake in the cyber sport I nearly pee my pants from laughing so hard. I don’t think this is their most popular activity so if you come with a group of friends, chances are you and your friends will be the only people in this arena — making for even more fun. Basically you ride around on little motorized scooters and try to scoop a ball into a basket/​box hanging on the wall. Think lacrosse on a scooter… kind of.
Go-​Karts: Man these things can go FAST. It’s fun to try to compete to be the fastest racer but there are some people who spin out on the track, causing everyone else to automatically slow down. That’s not cool but I’m sure it’s a preventative measure. Nice track, just wish the races went longer than 2 minutes or so.
Haven’t had the opportunity to play mini-​golf at Lasertron yet but I’m sure I will someday. A couple years ago Lasertron even put in a bar so if you want to be a real rebel, have a drink and then go go-​karting. Don’t hurt anyone though!
Seriously though, Lasertron is a lot of fun. Although a little on the expensive side, where else can you have this amount of fun? Highly recommend to both kids and adults — aka big kids.

My kids have a blast here. And once they get into the game area, it’s fantastic.
My main issue is it’s a little pricey, and it’s incredibly disorganized in the lobby. There’s really no system. You mill around in the crowd (who ALWAYS stand right in front of the doors). Once you fight your way through that, and people cutting you off to get to the desk (the employees are really nice, but the clients are very rude), you sign in with the clerk. After that, it’s great. My tip would be to do something about the lobby area.
My son had his birthday party there, and they asked for a review. I gave pretty much the same review as I have here. They were very apologetic of the cluster mess in the lobby, and to make up for it, they sent us about 8 free passes. And it wasn’t even a bad review, just an observation on how they could improve. That’s great service, really.

I’m giving it a 2 rather than a 1 just because kids love this place so much. I’m really good at the game (even though I’m not into violence and never play computer games, so go figure, I was always really good at paintball too), and I have a dark secret. I used to work here. When I was saving up to produce my first album. I’m not proud of it, but I was proud of how well I got on with the kids. When I worked there, it was a bunch of guys, 90% of them were not very friendly at all, and treated the little kids like an annoyance. The girls were much better and more bubbly with the kids. The guys who ran it were the worst. They were aggressive, demanding, they took their jobs very seriously but not in a good way, not in the «I work with kids and want them to have a good time» way, more in an ego-​measuring contest type of way. It was also kind of a dangerous environment to work in due to some weird tasks they’d have us do. But then a lot of jobs are, to be honest.
The reason I loved it was because when I was able to go behind the redemption desk (poor choice of title, really, should have been the prize desk or something — it’s a kids place after all), I really had fun handing out the prizes to the kids (and sometimes adults), and making up fun stories about the different prizes they could get. The best story was regarding «The Orb.» I told many stories about the Orb to dozens of open-​mouthed and wide-​eyed kids and their parents. I put on my scary «fortune teller» voice and gave them the history of the Orb and how elusive and dangerous and rare and exciting it was. How The Orb was more powerful than any other force in the Universe. How the biggest question is… does the Orb predict the future… or does it make the future… I probably gave some of them nightmares but they had too much fun with it and would keep coming back through and playing extra games just to get their hands on the Orb.
So yes, they all kept coming back and playing over and over until they had enough tokens to get the Orb. So it was really good for business and was even the most fun part of the experience for a few of the kids. The bosses were oblivious to the fact that most employees disliked working at «redemption» and I loved it, and was great at it, and my tall tales about the wonders of redemption gifts were becoming kind of one of the attractions of the place for the birthday party kids, and so the bosses would go out of their way to get me «off redemption» and doing other things instead.
But anyway. If you do go there. It’s a lot of fun… the game. The employees not so much. It’s not amazingly safe either but if you’re willing to let your kids take those risks then have fun with it.
As a consumer, there are other issues that affect the star rating. If you get a broken pack (and quite a few of them are) your game will be ruined because it will keep shutting off and acting weird, and before you know it half your game time is gone… but providing it’s glitch free, it’s fun. Another fun thing is saving up tokens to get The Orb (even though I’m no longer there to make acquiring the Orb more exciting). One thing I do not recommend though is the pizza. The party pizzas are absolutely awful, are not made well, and only a 5 year old could possibly enjoy them. But then since mainly only 5 year olds eat them, I suppose that is the point. That goes for all the food made here, in general.
Give me Laser Quest in Oxford every time over this place ;)

This is the ultimate laser tag experience. High tech equipment. Intricate, multi-​level layout. Deep techno beats. Delicious lasertron special cocktails. Fun for all ages.

Laser tag is great when you have a big team. The more I played the more techniques I learned. Some of the equipment malfunctioned when I was here. One of the bases stopped charging packs, before a game would even start some of the players would be in negative, and others have points. Sometimes if a gun was charged it would immediately have to be recharged. When we questioned the attendant, he said due to all of the lasers hitting sensors the equipment randomly fails. Kind of a bummer considering the cost and since it is not credited towards a future game. It still is a great time, and in spite of the «no running» rule, it is a great workout. I learned to take my time and stay near the base.
The mini golf didn’t seem to have many people at night on a Thursday. That may be a good time for taking your time as you play. The courses seem to be made a little easy because my par was usually 3 or less.
The gokarts are electronically controlled. If you bump your fellow karters often they will slow you down.
Thursdays was the Triple Play special, buy 3 for the price of 2. There are also food specials on this night. Check out their website! Friday’s are Free mini golf for ladies after 7p. Super great time! the lowered stars were because of the faulty laser equipment. The people who worked there were great, reservations were not difficult to get.

Bad experience! They need to better organize the lobby and the line that I waited in for a very long time. Some people were walking up to the counter without waiting in line. I found it expensive and the food was average. I could have purchased a season pass to an amusement park with the money I spent that one time.

I’ve been here several times over the years and I can say that I’ve never had a bad time. This place is unique in Buffalo in that offers a laser tag experience indoors. It is really fun and the people there are always switching up the special abilities and play area so you experience something new every time you go. Also, they now have go-​karting, mini-​golf and cyber sport so you can never be bored. Watch your arcade tokens though as money can be spent pretty quickly.

I came here twice within the past two years. The first time was on a Thursday night and our service was pretty quick. The second time was last week and my group of about six had to wait about half an hour for a group of high school kids to pay for their Laser Tag After Prom Event. Other than the prepubescent kids, my experience at Lasertron was a good one. I love going to GoKart there. It goes pretty fast but can be faster. I wish the races were longer but for 16 bucks and 4 races, it was a pretty good deal.

On my birthday, I decided to relive being a 12 year old kid by playing a game of lasertag. I’ve heard Lasertron being mentioned as a great place to go many times and have read the Unilocal reviews here, but it always seemed like such a daunting task to drive out to Amherst, reserve a game and organize the whole thing. Well, it wasn’t. It was EASY and I had a blast playing a game of laser tag and mini-​golf! I wish I jumped on this sooner, because I can see myself being back here very often.
On a Friday night, laser tag and endless mini golf cost us $ 20/​person. We came in around 7:30p and the earliest laser tag game available was around 8:45, but we opted for an 11:30 game so that we could hit up dinner at Jasmine’s nearby (sure, they have wings and bar food, but it was my birthday so I wanted something a bit more substantial). The mini-​golf was fun… the three different 9-​hole courses available have some variety, but it’s nothing that special, but laser tag is where this place REALLY THRIVES.
Their battlefield is TWO STORIES and features different game modes and is equipped with excellent technology that makes the experience incredibly fun. They do have a disappointing, yet understandable safety rule of «NO RUNNING,» but past 11p when the little kids are gone, it’s not always 100% enforced. «Speed walking,» after all… is not running, even though I have long feet and take large steps! The staff is wonderful, professional and gets you EXCITED to play. The game is over a half hour long and if you do it right, you’re sweating by the time you’re done… so you really don’t even know if you’d have energy for one more. The amount of time you get to play is just right.
If you’ve lived in Buffalo, and have never experienced this… go, go go now. No matter what your age is. It’s a blast.

I’ve been going to Lasertron since 2007!
This review is base on the last time I went there which is on Monday, ⁴⁄₁₅ evening. I went with a group of friends, there was 5 of us total… the place was empty and then a couple walked in. We decided on two attractions (2 activities): lasertag & cyber sport. The couple joined us for lasertag. 2 attractions was $ 20 each person, overall we spent $ 100 on the 2 attractions and then $ 10 in arcade games total.
Since there was only total of 7 of us in the lasertag room. they decided it would be a free for all; meaning everyone is shooting each other rather than play on teams. So no shooting bases only each other. It was fun and wild. Since there were a few of us. the first 5 minutes everyone hid behind or crouch low behind something… it took us the first 5 minutes to realize that no one is walking by for us to shoot. So that meant, all 7 of us have to keep moving to find targets to shoot. The night was ridiculous because the couple doesn’t know us, so the girlfriend just follow the boyfriend and kept shooting him which made the boyfriend yell loudly «get away from me. stop following me. stop. get away… GET AWAY!!!»… so that made everyone else (all 5 of us) to follow his voice and then we all proceed to shoot both of them.
Each time we hear someone talking or yelling loudly… we would rush there from behind, below or above and shoot them from a safe distance where we can easily hide after shooting. I had so much fun tracking down targets to shoot!
After lasertag (each attraction is about 30minute long), we were all sweaty and hot but went to cyber sport. We played on teams… so we decided 3 of us (which is my team) would be the yellow team and the other 2 friends will be the blue team. 3 rounds show the results that the Blue team won.
Before lasertag we played in the arcade area and then played for the last 30minute before closing (which was right after cyber sport). I’m glad we came on a weekday because it’s not as crowded as the weekend where they may ask for reservations/​deposit for large parties.
Next time we will try go kart. I never try go kart in all the times I go there. always played lasertag. This is my second time playing cyber sport. Lasertron now added a new attraction, mini golf.

Some folks call it cybersport. Others call it war. No matter what, people have been running around shooting each other with lasers since I was a teenager. Now I’m a parent. I’m a parent who sees his son getting stir crazy when winter hits, and I need somewhere to take him where he can run around. Stalk. Hunt. Kill. You know, the important things.

Thing is, I thought I would just drop him off, but he persuaded me to stay. What the hell. The kid likes it when his Dad plays with him. I put in my cash, strapped on the harness and entered the killing floor. Old instincts seemed to kick back in. I was a teenager again, and I was damned if anyone was going to get more kills than me.
I forgot how much fun Lasertron is.

Uh, yeah. Where was I? Right. Cheesy voice overs and riffs on old movies are no way to write a review. Let’s go with this. You sign up for a session. You kill time waiting by playing video games, eating bad pizza, and even having a beer if you’re of age (hear that Chuckie Cheese? A Bar. That’s how parents can survive!). You get called for your session, get split up into teams, and then hunt down and shoot your children. Do you need any more?
in the evenings the place becomes for adult friendly, and a drunken vibe fills the place. Good times.

Lasertron was great when we were kids… and equally great as adults! We tend to stick to the later time slots now so we aren’t inundated with the under-​18 crowd, but it’s a great workout (even with the «walking only» rule, you’ll work up a sweat) and with the addition of a full bar, there’s more to do in between sessions.
The customer service is great and the staff seems very well trained and is always easy to work with. Definitely a good place for something different!
