She has represented individuals, businesses and municipalities as plaintiffs and defendants in administrative and litigation matters in a broad variety of cases and areas of law. She has a particular interest in permitting, site plan review and licensing matters for restaurants and other businesses.

Kristi Bodin has been a lawyer in Western Massachusetts since 1994. Her current clients are located primarily in Hampshire, Hampden and Franklin counties. She also represents clients from other parts of the United States and from other countries in matters involving Massachusetts laws and regulations.

Business Owner

Kristi A. Bodin received a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1980, and a Juris Doctor from Western New England College School of Law in 1994. Before entering the legal profession, Attorney Bodin worked as a manufacturing management professional for several large Massachusetts-​based companies which produced industrial and consumer products for domestic and international markets.

Between 1994 and 1999, Attorney Bodin was an Assistant Attorney General in the Western Massachusetts division. During her time at the Attorney General’s office, she represented state agencies and officials in administrative law and civil litigation matters, in jury and non-​jury trials as well as motion hearings and pre-​suit investigations and negotiations. She worked for Seewald, Jankowski & Spencer in Amherst between 1999 and 2000, and returned in 2003 after a three-​year hiatus working in a small firm in Greenfield. She began her solo practice in Januray 2015.
