I got my start in baking early on, standing on tip-​toe peeking over my Bubbie’s counter as she carefully folded juicy pineapple into mounds of sweet whipped cream. I would wait eagerly for her to stand by my side and let me hold the electric mixer as it swam through the thick cream until soft pillows were formed. I was hooked. Ever since then I have had a passion for making beautiful desserts which satisfy all the senses. After attending Culinary school I moved to New York to pursue a hands on education working in one of the most demanding locations for Pastry Arts. I have worked in many kitchens, utilizing such skills as recipe developement, decorating, and design. In April of 2013 I decided to take my skills to Massachusetts to open my own business and have recently started Auntie M’s Bakeshoppe. All these years later, and I’m still playing with my food!
