Frostys Detailing

After seeing Frosty make some posts to a local FB group promoting his business, I attempted to reach him over a period of several hours on 12÷30÷15. Though I left a VM (which he got), I was finally able to get him on the phone only by calling back. I explained I had someone coming to look at buying my car on Jan 2^nd and asked if he would have any time prior to that to detail it. I realize it’s a tough time of year and would have understood if he said no, but he said he was available New Years Day and that it’s just another day to him. We discussed what I needed done and whether I should drop the car off or if he would come to me. He said he preferred to come to me and I provided my address. He told me he would call me back that evening and let me know what time he would arrive on Friday Jan 1. I did not hear back from him. I called and emailed (and Facebooked) several times on Thursday, left several voicemails and was unable to reach him. I tried again multiple times Friday (New Years Day) morning. I ended up spending New Year’s Day detailing the car myself as there was no other option. I still have not heard back from him (today is Jan 4). I wanted to wait a few days before posting this review to give him the benefit of the doubt in case he was unexpectedly sitting in the hospital but when I shared this experience in the Newburyport, MA facebook group (and tagged the Frosty’s FB page), a couple of others came forward expressing they also had a similar no show experience. I suggested they come to Unilocal to share their stories as well. When I hire a business, I expect reliability, communication and punctuality, the same things I provide my clients. Frosty’s in my experience does not provide any of the above. While the quality of his work may be out of this world, it’s not relevant if you can’t get the work done when you expect it. There are a ton of auto detailers in this area, I’d recommend saving yourself some stress and just go with someone else.
