Completely unimpressed. We had an emergency plumbing situation with our toilet overnight and needed some help. (I just had surgery so cannot do much and my SO only has limited toilet\plumbing experience). Having just moved to the area we were not sure who to call but I found Benjamin Franklin online and they boasted of serving Ames and surrounding areas. I called and the lady I spoke to was pretty rude. Once I gave my address to her she scoffed and informed me they didn’t service that area. I asked if she knew of somewhere that did, I realized we are North Ames so maybe there was a cut off or something, but she scoffed again and hung up. I can’t speak for their actual services but their customer service is non-​existent. Even if they did service our part of Ames I think I’d rather call Roto-​Rooter, at least their jingles are catchy.
