I had Shelby to do my haircut and she was amazing! Very patient and helpful. She did a great job trimming and washing my hair. She didn’t mind to stay late to fit my busy schedule and wasn’t rushing through it at all! I will definitely come back again!

Okay, in Utah it feels like everyone’s sister/​cousin/​neighbor does hair. But Dyson Studio is a cut above the rest, and feels like it belongs in a major city — not small town American Fork. You feel pampered when you walk through the door, and these hair stylists know what they’re doing. All of the stylists have worked here for years, and they have various assistants and apprentices who are quick to get you water/​Diet Coke/​etc.
My sister has been going to Andrea at Dyson for years (for hair extensions, short pixie cuts, bold reds, blonds, dark hair — you name it she’s done it).
Andrea is Awesome!
I went to Andrea for some bright reds scattered throughout a dark brown over all color. We weren’t 100% happy with the first shade of red (a little too pink) so Andrea did it again, seamlessly. She didn’t make a big deal out of it, and she was sure I left the salon feeling like a million bucks. It was around $ 150, and worth every penny.
I Love Becca!
I scheduled a cut/​color with Becca because Andrea was on maternity leave. Becca is freaking hilarious, and she is so so talented! I have extremely fine/​lifeless hair, and the cut she gaves me adds volume and body to my hair. She also did a great dark to caramel ombré on my hair. A cut and color was $ 110.
TL;DR: If you’re looking for a new salon, go to Dyson.

I don’t know if the guy that commented on this location previously likes lying or just doesn’t know what a haircut is. I went and got a «trim» from Shelby to end up with a hair cut that needed a touch up because of how poorly of a job she did. She didn’t even show me the back of my head because that’s where she messed up the most. Extremely do not RECOMMEND this salon for any male.

Had a hair emergency — Andrea fixed my weave quickly and so effectively! I wondered why I ever went elsewhere. Becka was welcoming and so kind. Here’s the bottom line — never judge a studio by the outside. Andrea saved me. She turned an impossible hair situation into something better than I could have anticipated. The studio is clean, music not loud, customer service on point and cost very competitive.

Shelby does a great Job on men’s trim/​cut if your new and you’re not sure who to ask for. Around $ 25 with tip.

Great hairdresser. In fact, the best I have been to here in Utah.
