Dr Stephen Rasmussen started his practice in American Canyon in 2011, and recently moved into his new facility. He is a 2^nd generation Chiropractor and has been practicing in California since 1981, after graduating with honors from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1980.

Dr Stephen Rasmussen is a 2^nd generation Chiropractor. After graduating with honors

from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1980, he moved to California and has practiced here since 1981. Dr Rasmussen has taken post graduate courses in neurology, orthopedics, X-​ray and keeps current with research and technology by attending national conferences.

In 35 years of practice he has cared for over 4000 victims of car accidents and has developed a very gentle approach to treatment using traditional manual manipulation as well as non-​force techniques, massage and exercise therapy. Dr Rasmussen is proud to provide patients in American Canyon with treatment using the DRX 9000 Spinal Decompression machine, an advanced technology used for Non-​Surgical care of chronic and severe lower back bulging disc and leg pain (Sciatica).

Dr Rasmussen is an avid outdoor enthusiast, has traveled extensively internationally and enjoys restoring and maintaining his classic Pontiac.
