Great place. A bit out of the way, especially if you’re passing through on the 40, but I think it’s worth it. We just stopped in for a quick lunch and got the Sliced Beef Small Plate which was more than enough for me. Great prices, really really friendly staff, delicious food.

Delicious! I recommend the combo frito pie with a squirt of bbq sauce on top-​yum! Ribs are fall off the bone tender and is very reasonably priced (most items are less than $ 10).

Great Bar BQ and friendly service. We got the ribs and chopped brisket sandwich– delicious!!! Beans were very good too. Cole slaw, potatoe salad and jalapeño cornbread. Mmmm Good! Sweet tea! We came on Unilocal’s recommendation, very glad we did!

Great barbecue and friendly people! On our way from Corpus Christi to Yellowstone park we stopped in based on Unilocal reviews. Wesley was very friendly, and they know their barbecue! We had chopped beef sandwiches and turkey — both very moist and great flavor. Stop in and say hello, You’ll be glad you did.

The Best BBQ on both sides of the Mississippi! Ama Girl living in Memphis, TN for 30+ years still longs for Wesley’s Bean Pot BBQ every day. Living in Memphis means I know what good BBQ is suppose to taste like and Wesley’s beats them all! We can’t wait to get there when we’re home. We’ve been here less than 36 hours and were on our way, as they’re open today! Ya’ll come, you won’t be disappointed. It’s the BEST!!!

Wowza! Got the Frito pie and a rib to try. Frito pie was gigantic and excellent. The rib was one of the best I’ve ever had. This place is off the beaten path for sure but worth the trip!

Great Texas BBQ off the beaten path. I love the ribs. A must try if you are near. Customer service is great and the locals are fun to listen to as they all make fun of each other. The only thing that keeps this from 5 stars from me is the sides. They tend to lack but the meat is always good.

This place is exactly what you want it out a mom and pop restaurant. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. The owners walk around and ask you how the food is because they care, not because they have to. The ribs are perfect, the sides are great and the jalapeño cornbread is amazing. Must try.

A+ … You wouldnt know this place was here and unless you knew or someone tells you i guess its like a locals secret honeyhole because it really great bbq i had the chopped beef sandwich and beans and meat chopped beef was on point as was beans with brisket def the only place i will come for bbq in Amarillo

I have eaten here for years and have never been disappointed in the service or the food! LOVE LOVE them! Big portions of good bar-​b-​q good potato salad good beans and good everything else. Good job to all who run this joint! well done keep up the good work !!!
