You could order anything off the menu and not be disappointed. I had bbq potato, mom had same, dad had ham potato, and daughter had chili cheese hotdogs. Everything was delicious and the staff was super nice.
The potatoes were all cooked to perfection and not one hard piece on anyone’s potato.

We got there at 1pm had a few customers in the store. Placed our order, I got a ham and cheese sub turkey for ham. Got our order within a few min it was fast! Opened my container they forgot to do the sub turkey. I was dissapointed and as looked up probably ten people walked in for lunch so I knew it would be a major problem and time consuming to fix. As I was standing there food in my hand contemplating what to do the kitchen manager or owner? (I forgot to ask) saw me and immediately asked what’s wrong? I explained the situation and he told me, he saw the order and made a mistake. Faster than before had me the correct food. Also he asked if I knew anyone hungry and I should pass the first order on to someone who was. I was astonished. I can only have good feelings for this business.

love there oversized pototes and the baked goods are always a plus. last time i went the drive through young lady was awesome.

I had to check this place out before I moved out of Amarillo. I’m glad that I waited till then to go because I’d be about 400 pounds by now since I’d want to eat there every week. Baked potatoes area one of my favorite comfort foods. You can put all the toppings you love on an edible container of starchy goodness.
When we got there, they had a chicken tortilla soup potato which I got and my bf got standard ham, cheese, chives potato. I wish we got half servings or split one because this was the mama of all baked potatoes. Easily a couple pounds each!
They are very generous with the toppings and the people working there were very friendly. So while I’m not sad to no longer be living in amarillo, there are a few places there that I’ll miss and this will be one of them.

I tried the taco salad potato. The service was fast and very friendly. And the potato was spectacular. I am definitely ready for a food coma after this meal. The menu is priced generously, and I even received a cupcake on the house. I will probably come back weekly.

I seldom find places I would rate with 5 stars in amarillo, but this place is amazing. I would recommend to anyone that wants a tasty and filling meal.

Potatoes any way you want them! From classic baked to chili and cheese to soups they do it all. Not much on the atmosphere but it’s more a quick lunch spot than night on the town. Food is good and offers spins on a classic but doesn’t offer much variety.

Best potato soup I’ve ever had! In fact, I went back the next day because I was craving the soup. If you want to make the soup a meal, order two containers. They’re only $ 2.50 each. My dining companions got the spuds, which they said were good and HUGE!
The atmosphere is very hole-​in-​the-​wall, and initially that put me off, but a guy, whom I believe was the owner, was so genuinely enthusiastic about his job and serving his patrons that I could easily look past the office-​breakroom/​restaurant feeling setting.

Nice change of pace from fast food ! Food was really good and didn’t have to wait very long for food! Staff was friendly!

Amazing little restaurant. Make sure you are either hungry or have someone to share. A lot of food for the money so is well worth it.

Great food and service! Huge portions that always satisfy, just make sure you are getting what you are paying for. My husband and I went there tonight in the drive thru and ordered two potatoes with two add on toppings each because it’s cheaper than ordering a combo and we didn’t need the drinks. At the window we were charged for combos. When we asked about it we were told that was the only way she knew how to ring it up and there was nothing she could do about it. She basically blew us off. Being on a fixed budget our dinners out of the house are carefully planned and I knew we were over charged and they didn’t care. I sent my husband inside to try and talk to a manager or something. They never admitted their wrong doing but did refund us more than we were over charged. Over all… you should totally eat here, just do your own math at the checkout.

Amazing restaurant the potatoes are awesome great combos friendly awesome staff great service defiantly coming back for more best combo is #10 in my opinion love this place!

I come from Chicago, and in Chicago there are a lot good delicious food options. My palate has experience.
This awesome hole in the wall place was delicious. Huge portions and delicious. And the service was awesome to top it off.
Highly recommend this place. Def will add it to my good food list.

To the person who had a horrible experience a couple of years ago — the new owners are the former owners sister and brother in law and, along with the new manager, are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. Something like that would make me never want to return to the place and would ensure that I told everyone I knew to not return as well. It is completely unacceptable to treat anyone in such a manner.
That being said, I think you would really benefit from giving the place just one more try. I know that’s asking a lot, considering what you were put through the last time, but I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The staff now is wonderful and they’ve added all kinds of amazing food to the menu. Potato cheese soup, cinnamon rolls, prime rib potatoes, chicken fried steak potatoes.. .

During my middle school and highschool years I played tennis at the Austin Tennis Center and I would always order here for lunch and dinner. You get this huge baked potatoe with all the fixings. They have combo meals and usually under $ 6. Not bad for a meal that could be split into two servings.
