THEFT ALERT! I stayed at this hotel last night. The hotel itself was fine. I wanted to warn others who are considering staying here that my car was broken into in the parking lot, along with several other cars. The police officer who arrived to make the police report stated that cars get broken into all the time at this hotel. I’m aware that the hotel is not responsible and that I park at my own risk, but it would have been nice to have had some sort of warning. You would think that they would put in a security camera if this happens regularly. Also, the staff was not helpful. When I told the front desk what happened, the woman just stared at me blankly. No sympathy or concern or offer to help in any way. I am writing this review as a warning to others!

Stayed here one night. Price is more than at the other location, so deduct one star. Location is good. Everything was clean and comfy. The staff person I checked in with wasn’t the friendliest, but was just ok. I appreciated the sofa in the room.

Free WIfi. Smaller Hotel only 3 floors. The room/​carpet had a weird funk but everything else was clean. Bathroom had a double sink one near the entrance and one in the bathroom. It was a small bathroom when you open the door you have to squeeze through between the toilet seat and door. The breakfast was OK… didn’t really have any appetizing items but it was free. There is a small indoor pool and hot tub as well. The location was near a lot of restaurants and not too far from Cadillac ranch.

Great stay– nice rooms– two sinks (in and out of bathroom). Breakfast was good too. Love the options of soft and firm pillows on the beds. Very close to tons of restaurants.

This is a typical side-​of-​the road hotel. 5 days after staying there, its details have faded fast. Staff was fine, the breakfast was ok, and the room was good in comfort and cleanliness. Parking is inadequate for anyone handicapped. Located on the west side in essentially the edge of town.

Great location; good breakfast; terrific staff. The staff made all the difference. Sharon at the front desk was amazing!!! We will be staying at Comfort on our next trip to Amarillo!

What a great place to stay! On our way to New Mexico, we had a flawless stay here. The lady at the front desk was super nice and cheerful. Our room was impeccable; the beds were super comfortable and we got an excellent nights sleep. I’m one of those who can toss and turn on a foreign bed, but not this one. Free wifi was nice to have and there was a Verizon tower right outside our room. Woohoo! The bathroom was clean and I didn’t find a single sign of the last guest. That in itself would have dropped the rating to zero. One thing I loved was having two sinks. One in the bathroom and one by the closet. Nothing slows down a family trying to get on the road than having to wait for the bathroom. This was such a plus for me!
The breakfast was pretty good. I really loved the waffles in the shape of Texas. They also had batter in cinnamon and plain. On our way back home the cinnamon was replaced with blueberry. While on the topic of breakfast, the selection was really nice. Juices, coffee with flavored creamers, wasn’t crazy about the round eggs so I skipped them, sausage links (would have preferred bacon), cereals and milk, oatmeal, yogurt and pre-​peeled hard boiled eggs. The coffee wasn’t amazing, but it hit the spot.
If you’re looking for a nice place to stay, I highly recommend this Comfort Inn. The only thing that has me teetering on taking away a star was our return visit… heading back home. The woman at the front desk wasn’t as kind and easy to deal with as the first. She was chatting with a friend when we got there which is very unprofessional. I am overlooking this since I didn’t really have to deal with her like my husband did. Management needs to address this with night staff.

This place should’ve been or first choice to stay in Amarillo. We arrived in town really late looking for a few hours rest before heading out again. I had looked the prices up online. After another hotel raising the advertised price considerably, we came here. We actual got the room for LOWER than the advertised rate because of how late we checked in. The woman at the front desk was very friendly. The room was clean and comfy. The bathroom was small, but adequate. They have a very large complimentary breakfast. All in all it’s a great value.

The amenities, the accommodations, the staff, and the price were all extraordinary and wonderful.
During the night someone cut the roof bag off of my car stealing from me 11 cubic feet of my belongings. According to the woman at the front desk they’ve also had people break windows to cars ridding others of their earthly possessions.
There isn’t an experience good enough at any hotel that could offset the experience of having your belongings stolen.
The Amarillo officer who helped me was also very nice.

We rolled in at about 9pm after a long day of moving out, packing a cargo van, and driving it for 500 miles. We were tired. Our room was pretty standard for the $ 100 price point. It even had a large-​ish mini fridge and a microwave — which is super for people on a long road trip. The room was clean. There appeared to be a security guard in the parking lot — so we felt our stuff was safe too. We slept like rocks.
The breakfast was standard cereal /​yogurt /​fruit and also had a waffle bar plus fresh biscuits, gravy, and sausage. The location is great because it’s right off the highway, but set back a bit so there isn’t much street noise. It’s also right across from a Red Robin if you need a decent non-​fast food meal.
I would absolutely stay here again. My only complaint, which is chain-​wide, is the horrible waste from the disposable dishes (styrofoam, even) in the breakfast room. I really think this can be done better.

In my opinion I would not stay here if you are not a chain smoker, we booked a non smoking room on the third floor the king suite, the largest room they have and could not even go into the living room because of the awful odor of smoke. Entire hotel fire alarm also went off this morning waking up my baby and scaring the dog we had after paying $ 149 including the $ 20 nonrefundable fee for my dog we will never be back and I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you like to smoke and smoke it up. When checking out I mention this to the front desk and she just said well some people on that floor do smoke. I told her I have asthma and that the entire living room stank to high heaven and not just a little bit and she said she’ll tell someone. No mention of I’m sorry or I will discount your rate. Super rip off for $ 150 a night. We had to sleep w our window cracked open! Only gets two stars because of the nice décor and what would’ve been semi nice room if I didn’t get a bloody nose, headache, and asthma attack. If we had not arrived from our travels so late we would have seriously gone to another hotel and complain to the Better Business Bureau. I’m only giving it two stars because of the nice Decour and the lady who I booked the room with by phone at the 1 – 800 number was nice although the staff in person seemed ambivalent. Also, the eggs for breakfast or powdered eggs. I feel very ripped off and wish that they would have pretended to care and discounted our room that was horrible. $ 150 of never again is my opinion and review. Did I mention I’m a former smoker? I quit a year ago and used to smoke two packs a day. So for me to say it stinks I think that’s a fair opinion.

The room appeared to be clean, but upon entering it had a strong mildew odor and the a/​c unit was very loud! Ended up shutting it off as I couldn’t stand the noise or the smell. Also couldn’t get on the «free WiFi».

This hotel was awful! I smelled mold in my room and the bathroom was so nasty that I refused to use their bathtub. They apologized and gave us a $ 30 discount. We still paid more than this hotel was worth! Do not stay here. Shame on you comfort inn. We were traveling cross country and stayed at several other hotels and lived the facilities. You need to train your cleaning staff better! Yuck

Friendly staff, great rooms– very spacious and clean and a great breakfast area to start your day.

5 stars! We loved it! The large room with a pullout couch bed and 2 queens for our family of 6, and great breakfast! Very clean room an great staff!!! Updated furniture in the room and comfy beds! We will defiantly stay here again and recommend to others!

Ummmmm… Hello! This is amazing! Soooooooooo clean! We have a hot tub in our room! Living like royalty for less than $ 90.

I wouldn’t normally give 5 stars for a motel… but dude. when I got to my room it was nice and big and had a jacuzzi in it. Whoa! Nicw big new digitsl Samsung flatscreen to boot!
No issues with this establishment except for the commentary breakfast. Not to good if you like eggs… sasuage was good though. I know r hey contract this service out… they don’t prepare it themselves… so to me no big deal. Coffee and juice was plenty good!
I will definitely stay here again when in Amarillo.

Stopped by on our way back to CO. The lady @ the front desk was friendly and the rooms were comfy. Definitely worth it!

My wife and I decided to stay here one night for our anniversary just to get away from home. She reserved the room several days early and something got messed up with the reservation. The lady at the front desk made it right and even upgraded our room to the nicest one they have. This place has the best customer service of any hotel I’ve been to.
The room was very nice. It was fairly large, very clean, and had a jacuzzi tub in the main room. Free breakfast in the morning was good. Everything was nice and warm as it should be and there was a good selection. I would definitely stay here again.

I am supremely disappointed in this hotel. I stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites for less than 12 hours. I checked out at 3:45am thinking that everything was ok only to be charged $ 50 for a pillow. I did not steal this pillow and they have offered me no recourse.
Stay here only if you’d like to be nickel and dimed.
