The service was good and the food came out quick I’m giving them a low score because the food is something you can get at a buffet. Didn’t seem like the dishes had a recipe or anything special. I ordered the lo mein and it tasted like any other lo mein I’ve had at any other cheap buffet. And the other people that were eating there got like eggrolls and rice which also looked like items from a typical buffet. It’s not a bad restaurant and it’s not like Alvin has much to offer in food choices lol

This is the best Chinese food in Alvin. I get the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and eggroll and wonton soup on the lunch menu. It is always outstanding as is the beef lo mein entrée.

Love the food and the people are nice the complaint that I have is if you have 5 or more people they charge you a fee. The way I see it is why should you charge me this just because I brought my family. Figured the more people I bring mean more money in your pocket. NEVERGOINGTOBRINGMYWOKEFAMILYTHEREAGAIN. I WELLCOMEALONE.

This is the«go to» spot in alvin for your Chinese food fix. Good portion sizes and the quality of food is always consistent. The only thing they need to add is delivery!

Not too bad but not spectacular. The service is usually good and friendly. My issue with this place is they use dark meat on almost everything(poultry). You should have quality food and options instead of using what’s cheapest. I do love the wonton soup and the crunchies they give you, it’s a fave of mine. The dishes with sauce like orange, sesame, and general tso are all the same and really generic. The egg rolls are disappointing, they are pork and taste stale(freezer burnt). With a bit more tweaking and recipe changes from the owner it could be a 5 star.

I was trying to find a Chinese restaurant in alvin. I stumble upon this one. I order kung pao chicken and chicken fried rice. First of all kungpao had no vegetable in it. Filled with peanuts. Fried rice was ok. Not a good one. I m not happy with the quality of food at all. Hope they can step up there food after this review

The waitress was very friendly and helpful & the menu had plenty of vegetarian options. The house mixed vegetables and tofu was good as was the vegetable lo mein. The food was quick & delicious and the price was reasonable. Would definitely go back!

Jade Garden is a wonderful little hidden gem in Alvin. Family operated, the food is always well prepared, fresh, and fast. The wait staff is always friendly and they are very tolerant of our children. They love to make the little ones smile, and will often suprise the kids with a carved orange or other treat. I only wish I could eat here more often

Im going start by saying this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to by far. I have had my lunch here quite a bit since school is close by. When I first came here, my first impression of this place was amazing. Lunch specials are are reasonably priced with great portioning. I would give 5 other than that some hosts(hostess) have quite a cold attitude. But there is one host who is always upbeat and positive every time I visit. I would recommend to everyone looking to eat some great Chinese cuisine.

Good food and timely service. Excellent lunch menu. I had the Garlic Chicken and was very impressed. Good serving size, needed a take out box. Great place, will visit again… if I’m ever in Alvin

I thought the food was pretty good given that I wasn’t expecting to find good Chinese food in Texas. We had some sort of fried fish and the crab fried rice which I thought was going to clog my arteries for the next 10 years. Also had other stuff which I don’t remember not because they were good but because I’m very bad at remembering this sort of thing. They gave us that weird egg-drop soup dessert which I had once before and thought that it looked like it might be salty but was actually sweet. Will wonders never cease?
