Welcome to The Bat Cave,

We’re two C-​17 pilots who manage several crash pads in Altus AFB for your TDY lodging needs. Crash pads are an awesome alternative to staying on base at no additional cost to you. Keep in mind a non-​availability slip is not required to stay at our homes. After spending countless months at Altus AFB ourselves, we sought out to start our own crash pads but with a twist. We strive to create modern, upscale TDY lodging rentals yet make it fun for each guest.

We think every house should have a ping pong table.

This is the true story of five strangers picked to live in a house and have their lives… rock
The Bat Cave flat out rocks. You get your own private room, queen sized bed, and TV with every channel you could ever want. The living room has a huge TV perfect for watching football on your weekends, the kitchen has a huge fridge so no worries about sharing space with others and the people you live with are great to hang out with plus you get inside knowledge about the program and what lies ahead from everyone. The weekly maid service will be greatly missed and the owners are the most responsive and helpful landlords I’ve ever had. They must check their phones and emails every 6 – 9 minutes because we never had a problem or question that got ignored. Excellent overall

Absolutely awesome experience with both of the bat caves and would recommend getting you’re reservations in with them early because the service they provide surpasses all that I’ve seen.
The houses: I’ve stayed in both and they are both in great shape and set up for a great time to both relax and get together with other friends who love Altus as much as you do. Cleaning lady comes once a week and does a great job, cleans the whole house, and cleans your sheets/​makes your bed. The kegerator is clutch and stocked with beer of your choosing.
The owners: Plainly; incredible service and communication. They worked with me to book a bat cave with two other buddies of mine and made all of the arrangements for me, it was completely painless getting there and moving in, no work required on your part. Also, their communication is incredible, I don’t know how often they check their email, but it must be at least 17,000 times a day because any time we needed something they responded within an hour and the answer was always yes. We requested a few things while we were here and the guys always came through and got us whatever we wanted/​needed immediately.
Stay here, just do it, it’s the only crash pad where you’re not just staying at a house, you’re joining a club.

The bat cave are houses of awesomeness. Better yet, the owners are super cool! Several people highly recommended them, I do as well! They are friendly and want your business. You couldn’t ask more from a house or its landlords.

If not the best, one of the best crash pads in Altus. Compared to many places, the owners don’t skimp on their house or amenities. Maid service once a week, keg beer, clean and the best part is the owners go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and continually check to make sure. Clearly they aren’t in it just for making money but building more than a business relationship. Mike will be my first call my next trip back.

Marvel has done it again. If you’re looking a for a nice laid back place to stay while touring the metropolis known as Altus, the Bat cave is the only place to see. A well decorated crash pad, that offers more than good beer and chill vibes is sure to make your time here fly by. Place offers a cool shady backyard that usually is occupied by guys playing corn hole and grilling brats. And for the more studious type, there’s never an issue finding a quiet place to study. Booking is easy and landlords are more then helpful at accommodating incoming roomates. 96% on rotten tomatoes

Paris. London. New York. Altus… True to their word and a great place to stay! The owners are on top of their crash pad and always looking for ways to make your stay the best it can be while in Altus. Comfortable and clean and beer flows like wine! It’s a close drive to base and the gym. Within minutes of restaurants. If you want to have a great Altus experience, I highly recommend you stay at the Bat Cave!

The Bat Cave is a great place to stay in Altus, it makes your stay enjoyable despite being in Altus. The owners care a lot about your comfort and are always willing to improve and accommodate in anyway they can. Atmosphere is great for both studying and having friends over. Highly recommend staying here, and I’m almost anxious to come back to Altus so I can stay at the Bat Cave again.
