Orignally founded in 1949 in Wood River, IL, Roberts Motors was a Chrysler DeSoto dealership. Roberts then moved to Alton, IL on Broadway and later became a Ford dealership. In 1974 Roberts moved to its current location on Alby St.

I started working at Roberts part time while still in high schoolback in 1984. While attending SIUE, I decided to try my hand at sales and did that until I eventually took over a sale manager position and eventually acquired the General Manager position.
