Established in 1991.

Duane Rister started working on cars in his parent’s garage about the age of 12. Neighbors would bring Duane their cars to change oil, brakes etc. Around the age of 14 Duane started rebuilding transmissions and repairing vehicles for family and friends.

After completing high school Duane attended Ranken Technical College and received his associates’ degree in automotive technology. He worked briefly as an automotive tech and in 1991 he and his wife Candy opened a small 2 bay shop on Milton Rd. Business continued to grow and the Risters built a 4500sq ft addition housing 4 additional bays and a dedicated transmission rebuilding area. Today the Risters employ 5 full time employees plus Duane and Candy work full time. Duane is an ASE certified master technician with an advanced level specialist certificate. Candy is also ASE certified as service consultant.
