Wheat Berry Café

Really nice juice bar. Very clean and modern style. The juice are pre bottled which is what I usually get. I got one of the juices with jalapeño it was spicy and delicious. They also serve smoothies.

After an unhealthy lunch run for my family I made a quick stop at Wheat Berry for a healthy plant-​based meal for myself. I got a very delicious and light juice made with cucumber, pineapple, coconut water and mint. I really love it and was sad to finish it. I also got an equally delicious vegan enchilada. Before purchasing I carefully checked the label for any scary tofu, tempeh, seitan or pretend dairy replacement. (Sorry, I just can’t!) As a last second checkout «splurge» I got a raw vegan peanut butter cookie. Yuck. It reminded me of eating a really yucky power bar. Same texture and all. After two small nibbles I slam dunked it into the trash.
Four stars only because I did not get greeted or even acknowledged for the four minutes I was in the store before I made it to the counter.
I am not crazy about spending $ 22 on a quick non-​service lunch for one and being prompted for a tip on the square cash register either. I don’t like feeling like I have to leave a tip and feeling like a jerk because I pressed «none» instead of whatever percent.

I was craving a smoothie right at closing time but after a quick phone call, they stayed open a couple minutes later for me to come by and get my fix!
The jumping sun smoothie was a perfect afternoon pick me up! Not only were the fresh mango and banana flavors balanced, but the finish of cayenne pepper really made it interesting and kept me coming back for more!

The made in house seed crackers and hummus was literally the best I’ve ever had. Wheat Berry café had our Middle eastern family members beat on the hummus.
Fantastic job. I don’t really know how you can take something so simple as hummus and crackers and turn it into something superb but it made my lunch on the go whilst driving, a delicious and nutritious one.
Paired with a green juice of course.

Great little place right off the highway. Had 2 salads, 2 smoothies, a breakfast bowl and it was all very good. The portions are small but 2 adults and a 10 year old were all satisfied. The staff was fantastic and helpful with suggestions. Will be back the next time we’re in the area.

A solid juice bar. Very small. And not the best I’ve been to in the area. But it get’s the job done. And it fulfills the job of bringing healthy eats to the Altamonte Springs area.
First there are the Elixirs. These are essentially smoothies. And they are quite delicious. I had the Jumping Sun, and I quite enjoyed it. Then there is the food. Decent, but overpriced, in my opinion. I came here for lunch with my father and two salads plus two Elixirs ran us about $ 30. And the salad wasn’t even all that great. As someone who is a regular clean eater and enjoys juice bars quite frequently, I’m used to paying top dollar at establishments such as this. But for the quality and quantity we received, I didn’t think it was worth it. That being said, I do think the Elixirs are worth the cost. I also want to give their juices a try next time I’m in the area.
There is essentially no seating at the place so I wouldn’t recommend it for lunch with a friend. You’re best to just stop in and pick something up to-​go.

I would give this place a couple more stars if it wasn’t so expensive for what you get. I was contemplating going to Dandelion or Ethos for lunch, but decided to give this place a shot since it was much closer to me. I ordered their lemon, Apple, and ginger juice with the sweet potato, quinoa, and kale bowl. The bowl itself was $ 8. When the lady at the register went to the refrigerator and brought out a tiny bowl of already prepared food and told me it was going to be $ 19 I almost laughed. The bowl was okay but wasn’t anything special. There wasn’t much sweet potato in it and tiny pieces of kale here and there. I would have been much more satisfied with making a trip down to my favorite vegan restaurants in the Orlando area.

The salads were awesome but tiny portions. Good thing we got the brownie — one with pumpkin. And it was the best brownie I’ve ever had. Salads were a Thai peanut noodle and a southwest with quinoa and black beans.
Store is very clean and they had some other products for sale like food bars and natural beauty items.
It was Wednesday so we got a free wheatgrass shot with our juice. Speaking of — it was incredible — orange and pineapple.
Great place for takeout.

Anything you order here is top notch vegan, gluten and dairy free. The desserts and cold press juices are phenomenal as well. Thanks everyone for many lovely lunches. A+

I had to give this place one star. If I could have written a review with nothing, I would have. RACIST! and AGAIN I say RACIST! I have been here several times with hopes that the service would be better. NOT! As one other person commented, they make it well known that they do not like people of color. You can literally stand in their faces and will ignore you until you get the hint.

They have turmeric ginger shots for all of your anti-​inflammatory needs. And gluten free, refined sugar free peanut butter pie holy cow. I just wish they had a fresh raw juicing setup. They still get my 5 stars though. Go enjoy!

The food here is really good, very tasty for a raw menu. The first time I went the staff was rude and the second time I went 6 months later they were just as rude. I don’t know what their deal but the food is too good to not go back.

I do appreciate the purpose and intention of this restaurant.
I simply did not enjoy the meal enough to return. I opted for a prepared item that was repurposed into a pizza.
It did not have the flavor i was anticipating and was too chewy.
Food here is not cheap either, so I doubt I will be returning.

This place has the best peanut butter cake I have ever had.
I loved all the desserts here and smoothie was good too. I wish they had more sizes of the drinks and offered more food options.

Customer service has improved significantly. I have been back multiple times since my first review, and I have been greeted with smiles and offers of assistance. Laura, I believe she is the co-​owner?, is lovely. She is very helpful and has an uplifting way about her.
When Wheat Berry is stocked with their food choices, definitely buy something. It is delicious. Even though it is on the pricey side, I always feel happily satisfied (and healthy) after eating it. I don’t visit Wheatberry as often as I would like, so I don’t know how legitimate my only complaint is. When I do visit, sometimes there are many food options, and at other times, there are only a few options. They went through a period of offering only wraps, however Laura mentioned yesterday that they are back to serving a larger menu.
Their store also has a cleansing program available, and some natural beauty items for sale.
Oh! I almost forgot to mention that parking can be limited, however Wheat Berry has two spots saved for their customers. Thanks Wheat Berry! :)

All I can say is, Grasshopper! It’s so delicious!
WBC has that new-​aged, clean look to it, but I think it actually lives up to its name. The drink concoctions are not only well-​thought out, but they actually taste good too. A lot places I’ve been to seem to throw in kale and spinach just because, but I think the ingredients in the smoothies here actually work for the flavor of the drink.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. I normally hate small talk, but this didn’t seem forced, so kudos to them.
Free wheat grass shot on Wednesdays with large drink purchase. Pretty sweet. If you like wheat grass…
Overall though, I was pretty impressed with the place. Would def make this a regular spot of mine if I lived in the area.

Out of towner traveling for work and came across this juice and smoothie shop. The place was really clean and had a wonderful welcoming feel. The owner was extremely nice and helped me figure out what to get since I had never been before. His recommendation was amazing and the smoothie I got was so tasty! I recommend this local spot to anyone who is in the area are passing through!

Def a racist place! Yup i said it racist! I walked in to friendly customer service to the cashier the lady making the smoothies said nothing just stared at me like i was irrelevant so i ask the cashier can i get a smoothie she says yes and directs me to the smoothie bar again the lady making smoothies doesnt say anything to me as i wait patiently to be served. I smiled at her she walked off and still has yet to take my order. Another customer of different race comes in and she cheerfully greets her and assist her i walked out like the scum i was treated like. Terrible experience and i guess if youre not driving a mercedes or bentley you het treated like crap! Smh def would not recommend this place unless you make 6 figures and are not dark skinned!

Love this place! Got the veggie wrap and the grasshopper to drink later. The wrap was so flavorful! I have never been so full from something so healthy! Can’t wait to try the grasshopper later this afternoon!

The juices and food are good but the owner seems to have zero to no people skills. I’ve been here twice and each time I felt like I was bothering him with my questions for recommendations or about a product.

Ate here a couple times last week. Staff was nice enough but they seemed somewhat un-​excited. The best things I ate were the veggie bisque soup and the cheese melt sandwich. The purple cabbage coleslaw was really tasty. The smoothies were decent but very expensive I think $ 8.99 for a 16 oz. The chicken salad sandwich was pretty flavorless. If you are trying to eat healthy then this is a good spot.
