Tuscan Pizza

This place is so overrated! Nothing spectacular, quite expensive $ 45 for 2 large pizza and medium salad. Taste not much of a difference from your nearby chain pizza joints. Very disappointed!

Since moving from Maryland to Florida, one thing I’ve seriously missed has been my Thai chicken pizza. Well, thanks to some feedback from fellow Unilocalers, I learned of Tuscan Pizza, which has my Thai Chicken Pizza, and is only about 15 minutes away. Well, their Thai Chicken pizza was actually spicier and more delicious that the one i was missing. Also, the gelato was delicious too, and the tvs in the booths were the perfect finishing touch. It’s safe to say that I plan to return often.

Pizza was good, thin crust with the right amount of sauce and cheese. A little disappointed that the margarita pizza only had diced tomatoes and basil thrown on top. Ambiance was pretty nice, individuals tv’s at each table with their own remotes. Overall pretty good experience.

Very good pizza, friendly service, clean atmosphere and great prices!!! Love it love it love it. Will DEFINITELY be back!

Tuscan Pizza is a solid pizza joint. I appreciate how clean it is kept and the friendly staff. The pizza is a very thin and crispy style with plenty of choices for toppings. They have many other food options like flatbread, salads, etc. definitely worth a stop in.

The worse pizza EVER! It was hardly sliced… A frozen grocery store pizza is gourmet next to this… Never again!

the pizzas are not ordinary. I was interested in the tuscan bianca. It has meat instead of spinache.
with the budget i had i opted not to get any thing other than the small salad, choices were: italian, greek, garden and a few other ones too.

I enjoyed the pizza very much. I had the Buffalo chicken and it had the right kick to it. The size was good and the prices were not that bad. Would definitely go back again!

Nice thin crust & loved having a dairy-​free cheese option! They missed a topping on one of the pizzas in our take-​out order & quickly made up a whole new pizza free of charge (and let us keep the other one).

Vege Supreme Pizza with a Greek salad. Pizza pretty good.
Salad nice too, but had too many croutons. Who does croutons in Greek salad? It takes away from the other good stuff. The croutons were more than the cucumbers, olives, tomatoes or artichokes combined! Next time I will ask to not have croutons. PIZZA WAS REALLY GOOD!

I went with my boyfriend and to our surprise it was empty at 1 in the afternoon. We were a bit unsure of what to expect but after ordering breadsticks and a large pizza we were pleasantly surprised at the quality. I read many reviews saying it was pricy but the prices are very reasonable and cheaper than ordering from a popular name brand pizza company.

There with a Girl Scout troop, the atmosphere worked perfectly because we had the somewhat small place to ourselves. This allowed the parents to relax and the girls to be loud.
While the girls love any pizza, I didn’t partake in any because they didn’t sell by the slice (even though the layout implies they would.)
So not a totally fair review, I would try it again if friends or an after-​school group went there but I wouldn’t go out of my way to give it another try.

The Pizza here is pretty good. The crust is thin and crispy. They cook to order in a brick oven, which is very nice. They have individual size pizza’s as well. They also serve gelato.

This place has an open kitchen area that allows you to watch them prepare your food. We ordered a medium chicken caesar salad, which ended up being rather large and with an abundance of chicken. We also ordered a medium spinach pizza — which had fresh toppings and was very tasty. Bonus points for a TV at each booth so that you could watch a sporting event, news station, or favorite sitcom while you eat. On the night that we were there, the staff was very friendly, attentive and efficient.

The pizza crust should be rebranded as pizza film at this place. It was ridiculously thin, although the taste was not bad, the price for what you get was high.
On another note, the gelato was really good. We had the biscotti, sea salt caramel and cookies and cream. Delicious!

The pizza here is incredible. Hands down incredible.
It’s a little pricey, but you get that perfect brick oven cooked consistency and taste.
Quiet when you want it, and busy when you least expect it!

I used to go here when it was Red Brick Pizza and I found they have the same menu along with the gelato choices.
My favorite pizza is still the Thai pizza and I also like the BBQ chicken. The meat lovers as well as the white pizza too.
I prefer the personal pizzas. When we go all of us order a single pizza for each so we all get our own flavors.
The gelato offered is really rich and creamy. My favorite is the dark chocolate but their vanilla kicks some butt also.
Prices are very fair and the space can get loud if it becomes packed.

Not sure why staff forgot to cook one of our pizzas since there was barely anyone here. Nice about it though when we brought it to their attention. Bathroom had no toilet paper. Again– it’s not busy here and that shouldn’t be happening. The food is okay– very thin crust. Kids meal is really a good deal –they get the same size pizza as you with a drink and scoop of gelato for a dollar less than what you are charged. I would
Say that for what you get it is overpriced.

After my previous review of this restaurant, I was pleased to have received communication from the manager immediately addressing the issues that contributed to my unpleasant dining experience. Action was taken to make the necessary changes to ensure another patron would not be dissatisfied with their service. I was invited to come back as the manager’s guest to be given the opportunity to dine with them again and be able to receive the level of customer service that they strive for their patrons.
Today, my husband had lunch at Tuscan Pizza with a coworker, not as the manager’s guest, but just another visit. We didn’t feel we needed a free meal to give this place another try due to the manager being so responsive and showing concern for his business’ reputation. I’m happy to report that he had a very pleasant experience. He was greeted by the employees, the cashier who took his order made suggestions for meal options/​upgrades, they were attentive to him and other patrons, very friendly and welcoming. The dining area was clean and the quality of the food was great. He ordered a salad and a personal sized pizza, the dressing was tasty and the pizza was hot and fresh. Tuscan Pizza has the right leadership and redeemed themselves from a negative customer dining experience. We won’t think twice about stopping in again to have a slice and yummy gelato when we are in the Altamonte Springs area.
