Total Wine has everything you could possible need. I personally love their beer selection and you have the option to build your own six pack. The beer is divided by country with everything from Belgium to English to American Craft. The workers are courteous and and knowledge about the products. This should be your go to place for drinks!

So this was originally a FIVE-STAR review, written on the TW site because I really enjoyed one of the wines I got from them. What’s it doing here, 3 stars lower, later? Great question — thank you for asking. It is because they(appear to) censor their ‘reviews’ Below, you’ll find, word-for-word, what I wrote, along with five five-pointers, they refused to publish it, saying I used ‘inappropriate language’. Hmmm — which word(s) is/are it/they? ‘Swill’? ‘Crappy’(title was«Not all Winery Direct wines are crappy»)? Or some more-innocuous word? Lord knows — so here for your eyes, in a forum that’s probably 2x wider-read than Total Wines’ own crap site, is my original review. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - I’ll be honest: I was almost angry that I picked up this wine(PHEBUSTORRONTES2014)(along with that Patagonia Malbec Reserve) from my most recent spree at TW — they were Winery Direct(WD) products, and I didn’t pay attention. Why the aversion to WD? Thank you for asking, but my perception is that all WD(or similar) products are crap. Witness all the wine clubs and the below-standard fare THEY usually serve up that are euphemistically not avbl elsewhere(yeah — because no one else could sell them!) — that, and a more recent experience. We paid $ 25 pp to taste the wines at Crane’s Roost in Altamonte Springs to support the Rotary event. The first we tasted(a SV) was sorta OK; the next, a PN, was positively a new definition of ‘swill’. I’m not one to waste, but I had to dump the rest of the 1 oz. liquid hell I was given, and my wife followed suit. The 3rd, another red, was even WORSE than the 2nd, which means, on principle, right, I had to sacrifice that to Fl-Apollo(name I gave to the Florida Sun-god) as well. And the 3rd red we tasted… I’ll tell you what: use your imagination as well as your logic as to whether that met the same fate as the previous 2 reds. What I don’t get is, why would TW, who probably donated the product, choose to donate their WORST product(at least I hope they WERE their worst product), and tell people in no uncertain terms, that their WD ‘WINES’ would — more appropriately and with apologies to the pigs — have the ‘s’ put at the front, as opposed to at the back. So imagine my surprise when I tasted this Torrontes. To be sure, Torrontes is one of my not-so-new-found favorites that provides the perfect diversion to SVs and PGs. This one has the unique flavor of lychees in addition to the citrus-y foundation — somewhat unique for this varietal, and very pleasant and tasty. Picking up a few more with the discount coupon…

Typical Total Wine and More, seemingly no different from any other location. They do have Growler fills but for some reason the prices are very high as compared with other states I get Growlers filled. For example the Delaware Total Wine offers 19 beers with 64oz fills ranging from $ 9.99 to $ 13.99 while the Total Wine at Altamonte has weak offerings(six total) with the lowest price of $ 14.99. There is a reason nobody is filling a Growler in Altamonte.

I think I had a better relationship with total Wine & More when they were farther away, with only the occasional visit. Then they moved to Altamonte Springs and signed me up for their loyalty program… and endless emails of short term coupons. Coupons that, if they haven’t expired, are often for only a few select products… but you don’t always know that until you go in.(beware of the designation Spirits direct and wines direct) I’m done with daily e-mails and promotions. I may also be done with Total Wine.

I am a guy that goes to a store like this based on craft beer selection. Forget that the name is Total Wine, I breeze right by all those aisles and head straight for the vast beer selection. As with any Total Wine I have visited, the selection is quite large, well organized, and properly stocked at all times. During their grand opening period, they didn’t even keep some of the more rare ones behind the counter, leading to some great finds. One thing that really sets this store apart from its brethren is the growler station. According the the workers there, you do not have to purchase their growler, as they will fill any that are currently 32oz.(I have been told they are planning 64oz. fills but were questioning some of the wording of the new legislation). The staff was quite friendly and helpful, and the store is very clean. If you are in the area, this place is a no brainer.

Went to the new location in Altamonte Springs. I just love this store. The customer service is on point. I asked for help to find Moscato and a staff member personally walked with me to find it. She also gave me recommendations and told me what were customer favorites. Also, this location had also had alcohol tastings. Love it!!!

Love this store. Their selection of all things alcohol is extensive and their staff is knowledgeable. I am a scotch drinker and they have a great variety.

Total Wine and More took over an old furniture store in Altamonte Springs. And a job well done. I went to this location during their grand opening. A lot more people in the store than normal. Compared to the Colonial Drive location. I found the layout a little different. But once I got my bearings it was OK. I picked up a few things that I needed for Independence Day celebrations. I picked up some Merlot, Spumante, for some sangria. Took a look around, I’m very similar to the other location. I work near this one, so I’ll probably be going to this one a little more frequently. Good job, it’s about time we hit some of the northern suburbs of Orlando.

4 stars for the location. Total Wine finally has a location within the northern suburbs of Orlando. We went to the grand opening, and needless to say it was okay, but not great. Some people are just there to get free samples of wine, thinking that going to give them a free afternoon buzz. All in all, it’s a great spot in the Altamonte area near uptown Altamonte and Cranes Roost. If you want to choose from a wide variety of beers, wines and spirits this is your place. They had some good sales for the grand opening, but the prices at wholesale stores like Costco and Sams can’t be beat. The only complaint, when leaving this shopping center there is many ‘no left turns’ so traffic really lines up, especially with David’s Bridal, Ross and Buy Buy Baby in the same area.
