Established in 2011.

Silverfern Studios is a ’boutique recording studio’ designed for band and solo artists of any genre. Matt’s dream was to create a top-​notch studio including both analog and digital recording, mixing vintage equipment with the latest technology, while providing the most comfortable and creative environment to record and produce music.

The studio has become a home for many producers, artists, and bands, offering musicians a quality recording experience that’s an affordable alternative to the major studios.

Meet the Business Owner

Matthew M.

Business Owner

Being a musician himself, Matthew understands all the tools needed to produce and record great music. A New Zealand native, Matt moved here in 1998 to pursue his dreams of being a professional musician. While touring and recording with numerous artists, Matt also started to produce and mix records for local bands. He then realized his dream of owning his own studio.

Beginning his recording career in the late 90’s, he has recorded with Grammy winning and nominated engineers, producers, and mixers. He’s worked with numerous artists in different capacities as a drummer, engineer, producer, and mixer.
