History

Established in 2007.

As a mountain bike enthusiast for over 10 years, Shuttle Run started out shuttling among friends. Riding from the top of Mt. Lowe or Mt. Wilson is truly one the best trails in the LA area. However, there are only three ways to get to the trails off the Angeles Crest Hwy. 1: Pedal up, 2: Partner up, or 3: Bring a driver… None of which are great options.

Being a commercially and passenger licensed driver, I got a van, a trailer, and a few buddies and the shuttle began.

Working for UPS as commercial driver for over 24 years, It was on my route to Chicago and back that I came up with the idea to use my driving experience and certifications for the business purpose of shuttling fellow riders. There was definitely a need for it and I knew it would be rewarding. It wasn’t long before I took extra training and received my passenger endorsement. As there was no existing service I started the company from scratch, from the ground up. After some initial trial and error, we have the customized trailer used today and the nick name Shuttle Dave
