History

Established in 1983.

Farias-​Jett & Company is a full service Certified Public Accounting firm with a permanent staff that is thoroughly trained and knowledgeable in the constantly evolving tax laws. We have served the Foothill communities for over 30 years and are located off the 210.

Our company employs four degreed accountants, including two CPAs, administrative and support personnel, all with vast experience preparing over 40,000 financial statements and over 20,000 tax returns for individuals and businesses.

Because we are privately owned and locally operated, we are accessible to our clients all year to help with any tax, accounting or financial management needs. We offer an array of financial services including monthly accounting, business valuations, gross profit and cost analysis, internal control evaluations, and in-​depth reviewing and analysis. Our full-​time staff also provides bookkeeping and tax compliance services including preparing W2s, 1099s, sales and business tax reports, and more.

Business Owner

Robert H. Farias, Certified Public Accountant, is a Managing Partner at Farias-​Jett & Company.

In 1974, Robert earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA). Upon passing the CPA exam he accepted a position at Kennedy & Kennedy in Glendale, CA., which he later purchased, and in 1983 branched out to form Farias-​Jett & Company.

When Robert purchased the practice, the existing clientele was composed mostly of pharmacists. Although he maintains this strong client following and is a trusted source within the industry, he has grown the practice to serve more than one hundred different industries including law firms, health care professionals, and restaurants.

Whereas most accountants are «historians» focused on past transactions, preparing financial statements and tax returns, Robert is passionate about proactively guiding clients through personal and business strategies to help make wise decisions and avoid any pitfalls.
