Dr Strange Records

Awesome record store! We happened to be there when the owner was there. We had tickets to see the Buzzcocks and we had to sell them. After talking about them to the owner he highly recommend to see them. I ended up buying last 4 tickets on stubhub. He was right, awesome show.
The record store is great. It has a great variety of punk. We picked up a few CDs! Once your there make sure you pet jynx. The punk rock cat!

Rael and the dudes at Dr. Strange are great! Came in to sell some records today and got some top dollar for my rekkids. We even had a super pricey record in the bunch we didn’t know about and Rael pointed that out to us with the greatest honesty and integrity.
This has been a favourite rekkid store in SoCal for decades for a reason

if your down for your punk rock grit you need to have dr. Strange on your waze. Cause going the distance should be for every good punk rocker. It may be in the deep suburb of Rancho Cucamonga but it’s still hard core. This place sells vinyl, band tees and creepers (to order). The best part of this store is that it still displays punk flyers for punk shows. Dr. Strange is the last remaining remnant of the 90’s punk scene still up and rockin. Keep this place going by supporting it.

This is a great record shop! They have a huge selection and are very friendly. They have a good selection of new vinyl up front but also a huge amount of 7″ in the back. They also have apparel (Fred perry polls and creepers!) and pins!

Great place. The staff is super cool, I’ve got some great stuff from this record store. I Always leave with my pockets empty. Wish they had more pv and grind though.

i Always find awesome hidden Gems here. I listen to different music, but Hardcore punk is my main Genre. You can find awesome hardcore records for only $ 12! I honestly love this place

Very cool store with a terrific vinyl collection. I walked in on a sweltering summer day and started leafing through their posters. The store is in a quaint residential neighborhood in Rancho.
The staff is super knowledgeable and they have a nice selection of posters and tees. Their prices are reasonable, about six bucks for a poster and thirteen bucks for a tee. Interestingly, they also have used clothing in the back of the shop that has punk rock and alternative band logos painted on the back from bands such as The Dead Kennedys and even some Smiths (gold star!)… A quirky addition to my punk rock record store list of havens and I bought a Buzzcocks poster, a Sonic Youth tee and a Smiths sticker for twenty bucks! And they give you the coolest dr strange sticker with every purchase! A must do for any current or former punk rock girl or boy!!!
Check it out! But wear your monkey boots!

Came here the other day and the owner was very helpful! A lot more helpful then the staff that is there most of time! My bf loves coming here for shirts and patches!

This store is amazing!!! The employees are inviting and knowledgeable of the great tunes they have in store. Love coming here with my boyfriend and checking out the new vinyls to add to our collection. They had just gotten new shipment of new records and before they sorted them out the owner let us take a peek ! Not only do they have a great music selection they also carry a variety of band shirts, fred perry polos, TUKS, jackets and my favorite area to check out are the patches and pins! Definitely recommend checking them out :)

I was looking for a record store to waste time before catching a flight. found this one on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. glad I did. Very cool selection of punk and metal tshirts, vinyl, and cds. mind you I said punk and metal. if you’re looking for something else then this probably isn’t the place for you.

Always find what im looking for. The staff is always dope and helpful. Saw the video of the guy streaking through the store so probably (deffinantly) not kid friendly but kids r annoying anyways. If they dont have what u want the have a backroom with a bunch of hidden stuff and they order almost anything. Plus jynx is a cute kitty

I’ve been going here for over 5 years and have always loved it. They have a lot more than punk records, and they’ve always been great to me! I always recommend it to all my friends!

FYI: this is obviously a punk rock CD/​record store, so if that’s what you’re looking for, you’re in luck. If it’s not, well, you’re not going to find much that’s up your alley here.
I guess I’m spoiled. In an Amoeba-​ruled (and back in the days, Vinyl Solution-​ruled) kind of world, when I go into a music store, I pretty much expect to find it at the price I want. So when I go into even a small music store like Dr. Strange, I’m always taken aback when I find on the shelves mostly stuff I already have, or stuff I don’t want. It’s weird when I flip through and am thinking, «man, the selection is pretty weak.»
Still, it’s always better to have more independent music stores than less. Considering iTunes pretty much owns the world these days, it’s always refreshing to know I can still go to some places and walk in and flip through stacks of CDs and records (which of course I’ll convert to digital once I get home).

Walked in there one day after visiting my girlfriend only to find the dopest selection of punk vinyl records. The homie Rael, tall ginger cashier guy, helped me find the stuff I was looking for. Found a 7′ in vinyl I was looking for and got it for, no joke, like 2 bucks.
This place is neat and filled with cool shit all around the store. Definitely a chill spot if your into punk.

Super friendly and helpful customer service. This place is super organized. The band shirts are alphabetized and separated by size. They sell Fred Perry, TUK shoes, bondage pants and other hard to find punk clothing items in the back.
