I use this recycler fairly frequently. The attendant, Joel, is always helpful, yet businesslike. He couldn’t be friendlier! He keeps the area clean and neat… I’m glad to have this business in Alpine.

Joel is so helpful at this Recycling Center. I shop at Albertson’s Market and Recycle in the parking lot over at the Starbuck’s end of the Strip Mall. Great service and my recycling is done in a timely manner. So thankful we have such a great recycling center in Alpine so we don’t have to drive to El Cajon. Thanks Joel for making recycling Easy.

The fat little shit kid that works here is a complete brain dead moron and is very lucky I stay out of trouble these days. sooner or later someone won’t care and will knock him on his fat ass… went there couple weeks ago to recycle a good amount of stuff. after waiting in line already for a good 10 minutes and I finally get to the front the idiot says to me he’s going to go take his break… expects me to stand out here guarding my cans n shit so his 400 pound self can go have a soda. not happening. so after I tell him no and start telling him he can’t take a break with a line and expect us to wait for him what are you thinking?! Oh that’s right he’s incapable of thinking clearly because all the McDonalds from across the way went straight to his puny head! He calls the cops and refused to recycle my cans like a little child. I’m sure you hate your job, and your life even more, but don’t take it out on us innocent people who are just trying to make a couple bucks (literally). Called that day to speak to a manager or someone with some power. of course haven’t and probably won’t hear back. Thanks for ruining my day twat.

I wish I could give negative stars just like other post same thing happened to me! That little boy is a punk needs to go back to school and get an education. He acts like owns the place. Won’t tell you that it’s not open until u take all your cans out and sort them! He is so annoying all the times I’ve been there. Next time I go I’ll bring my man and see if her says anything to me:)

I’ve been here multiple times and each time, the attendant is extremely rude. He acts as if you’re stupid if he finds a particular bottle shape that his company doesn’t accept etc. That part’s dealable, you just tolerate his comments and get your recycling done. However today we went there at 9 (we didn’t know the hours of operation, and everything was open, he had empty cans out for usage, and he was crushing recycling). We assumed he was open, and we start emptying our recycling, he doesn’t object or even speak to us, he just stares at us and continues whatever he’s doing. I then notice the hours of operation sign so we ask if he’s even open and he bluntly and rudely states; «No. Times right there can’t you read?» I refuse to come back to this. The guy needs to grow up and realize that he has no right to be condescending and rude. Really wish this guy could get fired for his attitude and rudeness to customers, he gives the place a bad image and probably makes them lose business.

This business utilized the DISAPPEARING INK method of ripping people off… By the time you take your receipt into the store to get your money, all the ink is GONE; and just like magic they have STOLEN YOUR MONEY… Phone calls are not returned; and emails are responded to with a message saying to call… A TOTAL SCAM THEY MAKE $$$$$$$$$ from, stealing from you… I’d love for my checks to disappear before they got to the bank, but that’s not the real world; and these people need to pay for stealing…

Complaint Description:
I was not paid for recycling they took from me Upon depositing my recycling into a self service machine, I was dispensed a receipt; not money… When I took the receipt into the store to obtain my money, the ink had completely disappeared from the receipt and it was totally blank… Numerous phone calls have resulted in «someone will call you back»; and of course, no one has… I emailed my complaint, and I received a generic message saying to call them… They must make a lot of money by stealing it; and I wish I could make the ink on my checks disappear, but that’s not legal… Neither is ink that disappears so that they can steal what I paid for… I have no specific information, because it DISAPPEARED FROM MY RECEIPT… They have a license to steal, and it needs to be revoked…
Your Desired Resolution:
I want the money I am owed, the money I put into the machine that was stolen; it is not my problem they utilize fraud to steal from customers, but I want my money and I want it now…
