A teashop closed for tea time??? A high tea without champagne??? Enough said!!!

Great food & very filling compared to other tea shops. Love the courtyard seating & fun dress-up selection!

cute place– Checked online website the day before going and it said«reservations suggested». This is completely false– on arrival we discovered the truth… RESERVATIONSREQUIRED– do not bother just showing up even if the place appears empty– you will not be having tea! Plenty of room outside too– but apparently only in summer ‘too cold outside’… nice day too. Very closed mindset to accommodating customers– so without reserving in advance your out of luck. ‘We only make so many of …’. Loved to have just sat in or outside and enjoyed tea– better yet with extras! I did not leave with warm and fuzzy thoughts about the place.

Great place to go back in time and enjoy some tea and bite sized quiche. Run by a wonderful and funny lady. Has great selection of teas and reasonably priced. Will continue to frequent as often as possible. Great place for not only mom and daughter, but me, grandpa and grand daughter. Why not? It’s as much fun as McD’s!!!

The tea house is cute with an array of gifts towards the back of the store. The tea varieties are many and they did have a few new ones we tried. One in particular was not very good. We did end up buying two packets of our favorites to have at home. The food items were tasty, but the quiche was dry. Although I have to say that there are other tea houses that do have a more upscale variety. The price of the High tea did seem reasonable for the quality of the courses. If you are looking for a more formal or higher end tea, I would not recommend this place. The décor I felt needed a little refreshing and was surprised that they did not have holiday decorations up for this time of year. They were playing what appeared as Christian holiday music, which didn’t bother me at all. But I can see how some people may not have been open to it. The service was fine, but there were some loud voices in the kitchen area for some reason. So I“m not sure if it’s always that way. I think 4 stars is generous for this shop., But being that there are other sit down tea options in SD, I would certainly go back to those shops before returning to this place.

Took my two teenage granddaughters for our 6th annual Birthday Tea. This has been our treat since they were 10 and11 years old. Different every year. We have been to bigger, fancier Tea Houses. But Cobblestone had wonderful food and lots of it. No one rushed us the service was lovely. And more inexpensive than most. We recommended it. Be sure to make reservations as it is small. In the summer they have outdoor patio seating too. Lovely

Dads, boyfriends and husbands please make reservations to take your favoriate gal here for lunch, youll be very surprised at how full you will be after having pots of tea, small sanwiches and fruit for lunch. Large selections of teas. The ladies are so kind and they go out of their way to make your experience a memorable one. They have hats, gloves, boas and accessories for us to dress up for the time period. They take a photo and give a copy to each of us. The food is delicious, very affordable $ 32.00 for the two of us and we were full the rest of the day. I took my Nascar loving husband here and he enjoyed the visit more then he thought he would. They also have all kids of victorian tea cups and other items you can purchase inside the cottage. Wonderful experience.

I took my mother to the Cobblestone Cottage Tea room to celebrate Mothers’ Day. First I want to mention that they offer hats and clothes and accessories to dress up in while you have brunch and they take your picture(which you can purchase separately after brunch). The ambiance was adorable and dainty; perfect for a mother-daughter outing. I had made the reservation with little notice and they had no problem accommodating us. They do offer outdoor seating in the garden area, which I would recommend. My mother and I sat outside, enjoyed our delicious brunch, and had a wonderful time. The owner was polite, informative, and well knowledge of the tea menu. The food was fantastic! The scones were great but my favorite part was the jams and butters they offer with the scones. My mother and I had the High Tea and that was plentiful plus some for the two of us. I would highly recommend the Cobblestone Cottage for any occasion. I can’t wait to take my mother back.

This place has always been great! My mom and I have been here 4 or 5 times and it has NEVER dissappointed! Their food is always amazing, I cant even say what is my favorite because everything is great. I do love their quiche though! They have a huge selection of different teas and you can try a new one everytime you finish your pot which is a lot of fun. The women that work there are always very attentive and gracious. And finally the place is always gorgeous, the tables are all set up in different color themes and you can sit inside or out(if its a nice day). Definitely one of my favorite places!
