Had a follow up with the Insurance company(Jacqueline) who states that they will not have the fragments found in the sandwich tested. She feels that bones are common with fish and therefore is basically guessing that that it what it is. The items in the sandwich appear to be a hard plastic and could of chipped off into the fish during processing and if the machines are not checked or the batch recalled someone else could choke. The Insurance company is York Risk Services. Bottom line is if you purchase food at Carls Jr you choke and die its probably a bone.

This is the worst Carl’s Jr I have ever been to and I’ve been here several times, being that there are very few places to select from to drive through in Alpine, especially at night! Every time I have come here there is always something missing from my order, not cooked properly, or they are out of everything I want to order! Tonight they were out of cheese for the tacos and then out of Dr. Pepper, and no taco sauce. The fries were cold and old tasting. I will not be coming back to this place, thank god they put a Mcdonalds in Alpine! I’m very disappointed because I usually enjoy Carl’s Jr. Last time I came here I ordered a Turkey burger, the turkey Patty was cold and definitely inedible! The owner or manager might want to step it up and do their job because after seeing all of the other reviews I know I am not the only one that is not satisfied with this place. I’m surprised it’s still open. Let me know when it closes, I would love to open a resturant here that actually cares about their product and customers.

I’m too lazy to write a long review so I’m going to be frank this Carl’s juniors don’t have good service at night I’m not sure who’s the manager but I come here after work around midnight and I always get poor service I am in a thin line between not coming here so I am going to try to look for something else since I am on the road a lot. Also they seem not to take any debit cards at night only cash I suspect they’re stealing money because one of the employees seem to have a calculator when she or he can punch in the order in the POS system so I don’t know what’s the deal I ask them what’s going on I need a receipt and they simply replied the machine don’t work that’s the second time, I’m not sure if this is official but they also said they can’t serve Burrito verde menu at night.

My husband & I were coming here quite often & the food WAS always pretty good, but 10÷11÷15 we decided to go through the drive-thru. We placed our order & drove to the window to pick up our food. It sounded like they were having a party in the kitchen ‚(a lot of laughing & carrying on) I remarked to my husband that they may be doing something to our food. Sure enough, when I unwrapped my natural burger, I saw that both sides of the bun were just smothered in ketchup & mustard, so much that it was running out & the burger didn’t want to stay in the bun! Not only that, the fries were cold, dry & hard. GROSS! WEWILLNEVERGOTHEREAGAIN!

Really bad service. I filed a complaint thru Corporate 3 weeks ago. Received a standard answer indicating that my concerns were forwarded and the restaurant would contact me. Still waiting. My original complaint was after waiting a long time for my food it was wrong, then waited another long time. When I went up to inquire, I found that my food was sitting up there. I was told it was because they could not find me. First of all, I never left my seat, so they didn’t miss me when I went to the restroom of something. Second, I was the only person there with a walker and therefore, I should have not been confused with anyone else. Third, even if they forgot who I was, there was no attempt by any employee to find out who the meal belong to. By the time I got the 2nd burger, it wasn’t even hot anymore. While waiting so long, I noticed a gentleman behind the counter with his shirt unbutton. He looked totally unprofessional. Then, he came out to the dining area with the shirt just hanging off his shirt. He looked like a gang member. Also, I noticed 2 employees standing around looking kind of clueless. These employees could have been sent to find the owner of the burger or sent out to clean the windows, which were extremely filthy. They looked like they have not been cleaned in at least a week. Normally, I probably wouldn’t have noticed these things, but when you wait about 45 minutes, you tend to notice more. I originally tried to complain to the manager on duty… total waste of time. She made no offer to make a new burger(#3), because it was no longer hot nor to refund my money. I am not surprised that this restaurant has not made contact me, because you would need a place that knows how to provide good customer service and this one obviously does not. Carl’s Jr. needs to spend less money on trashy commercials and put it back into raising the standards at the local level. There was a time when good service and good food brought me back to Carl’s on a weekly basis. Lately, I’ve gone once or twice a year and that was too much. Now forget it.

I have been eating here for many years and ate here growing up in Alpine. I have always loved the food here. I went in there yesterday and was disgusted with what I saw. The manager is clearly incompetent. He was sitting in a booth with another employee– a young woman. He was shouting across the restaurant at the other employees asking them about how many hours they’ve worked and if they were on the clock or not. There were several other customers there at the time and I think it was nobody’s business how long other employees have worked. He should have gotten up to talk with them instead of shouting. He was too busy rubbing his hands on the other female employee. Yelling like that is extremely unprofessional. Then this manager was rubbing this woman employee’s legs and flirting with her very loudly. To top it all off the young woman employee’s brother or friend came in with a pet rat and proceeded to put it on the table and leave it with the girl and the manager. The girl then walked around the restaurant with it on her shoulder and then left to go home. The manager didn’t even care and was actually laughing about it. I’m pretty sure bringing a rat into the restaurant violates some health department codes. I could tell some of the other customers were uncomfortable and annoyed. The young manager was extremely immature and unprofessional. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

What a difference. Went to McD’s last week in Alpine and gave a review. (it was horrible) Today I went to Carl’s jr. in Alpine and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was happy and very helpful. The place was VERY clean and the food was great. Will never go to McD’s again, but will definitely come back to Carl’s.

Nothing like going awY and trying a, new burger joint. Well the west coast people are big friendlier I think. Wow. For 5 dollars I got a double cheese burger fries and drink. the double is like a BK whooper. Nice. And the burger was very tasty. I will be back next time in area.

Hey Carl’s Jr… shouldn’t your Famous Star with cheese come with a hamburger patty and cheese? How can you idiots forget to to put a beef patty and cheese on a Famous Star with cheese?

My family and I stopped by after lacrosse practice for a quick bite to eat. The service wasn’t bad but nothing spectacular either. What really got to me was that I had sent my youngest into the bathroom to wash his hands after practice and he came back to report there was no soap dispenser. When it was reported to the staff one was grabbed from the women’s restroom and moved to the men’s. I asked the staff member(who was male) how they washed their hands with no soap and instead of a response he shrugged and said«do you want the soap or not». If it wasn’t for my son being starving I would have walked out right then and there. We will however not be returning

Pretty good, nice salsa bar and it’s always clean in here. For food, it tastes like you would expect fast food to taste. Never had a problem here

Food quality here is better than some fast food, but it doesn’t rise very far above the rest. I tried the new BBQ brisket nachos. The flavor was good, but it didn’t blow me away. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Poor service here at this Carl’s Jr. Relative to other locations, this place has many days were they serve hamburgers on stale bread/buns. Often they get my order wrong. On the positive, the building is well air conditioned. I re-visit reluctantly only because fast food options in Alpine are sparse. Also, the bathrooms are almost always in very poor condition and rarely clean,

Are you seriously reviewing a fast-food joint that could be a Micky D’s — if Mickey D’s were hard up enough that they wanted to scrape and bow for a bunch of rednecks’ cash? Please. I’m giving this place 5 stars based solely on the cleanliness of their restroom, a welcome boon when my apartment complex decidedly to randomly shut off my water. I work from home, I needed to pee, end of story. To everyone else who’s reviewed this joint, I quote the lovely Joan Cusack in Say Anything: «There’s no FOOD in your food!»

I am not surprised the rating is two stars, and I agree with pretty much every other review in every aspect. It’s dirty most of the time, the customer service is seriously lacking and it usually does take a long time(but tonight was the exception in that department). I just returned from a return trip to this Carl’s after arriving home to find that the grilled fish sandwich I ordered was not in the bag, even after the girl handed us the bag through the drive-thru window said, «It’s all in there.» Maybe that’s why it didn’t take as long as usual. My fried zucchini was soggy and extremely bitter. I know better than to order fried food from here — it always has a bitter taste. Their oil is too hot or it needs to be changed, but it happens every time. Anyway… Let me preface this with I was not angry or bitchy or negative in any way. I get it — things happen. I own a local food establishment and good customer service is my number one principle. I go back and pleasantly ask for a supervisor or manager, and the same girl that took our order says«you didn’t get your fish sandwich, did you?» Nope. «Would you like us to make you another one.» Yes I would. «Is there a supervisor or manager here?’ «Yes» and she proceeds to go around the corner and tell her that I would like another sandwich. I asked another employee if the manager could come out and talk to me directly. She(Nia?) comes out and asks what the problem is. I explain that I’m not happy that my order wasn’t complete and that the zucchini is too bitter to eat, that I don’t want my money back for the zucchini but I would like a new fish sandwich and some comped shakes for the inconvenience. She grabs the zucchini off the counter very aggressively, crumples it up in the bag and barks at her employees to make the shakes. Then another employee comes out and says they’re out of fish and would I like something else. No, thank you. I don’t eat meat. He relays this to his manager. She doesn’t even have the courtesy to come out and tell me that herself. I then request my money back for the sandwich, which apparently is a manager function so she had to face me once again. The poor guy doing her dirty works nicely suggests a salad. I wasn’t given a receipt so she had to find my order in the system. Never once does she apologize for anything until I thank the guy for suggesting a salad as I’m leaving. I also thanked two of the employees for being nicer than their manager. Maybe I’ll go poach one of them to work for me. Good customer service isn’t difficult. Why is it so hard to find? I’d like to say that I’ll never go here again, but my husband and kids like it. Sorry for the novel-length rant. I realize I’m rambling; maybe it’s the hunger.
