M Salon & Spa

This was my first time at this Salon and Emily worked on my hair. I am terrible at everything to do with hair… Styling, products, keeping up with haircuts, you name it. So I walked in with super long hair with horrible split-​ends, just hoping to make my hair look decent. The outcome was the picture included. Before and after. I love my new hair and am very impressed with Emily. Looking forward to going back in 8 weeks and start keeping up with this mess!

I walked out of M Salon last week and my hair looks as great today as it did the minute Natasha finished her magic with color, cut, and style. My hair still looked wonderful throughout a week and weekend full of wedding celebrations, leaving me with more time to enjoy my family. I have been going to Natasha for eight years and am always pleased with the results. Monique, the owner of M Salon and Spa, is beyond talented, too!

I visited this salon for the first time on 23^rd July 2015 to treat myself with a new hairdo on my birthday. I had an appointment with Emily and she is absolutely the best hairstylist I could find in GA till date. I am new to this part of the world and getting a perfect hairstylist has been my biggest challenge in the last 4 years of living here. I have tried most big brands and also the smaller salons in and around Atlanta but was dissatisfied with most. Thanks to Emily my search is finally over. I would highly recommend her for all your hair needs. She puts in a genuine effort in understanding what her clients are looking for. She is patient, dedicated, and just brilliant at her job. I was also impressed to see how much she cares for the customers satisfaction at the end of the job. I did a haircut and a color and got lots of complements on it. Love EMILY!

I have been coming to Monique to get my hair done for years now. I have very thick, very straight and very heavy hair. And lots of it. Monique always finds the best cuts for me and will tell me if she thinks something I want to do won’t look good on me.
I have never been able to style my hair and make it stay on my own (because of the thickness etc.) And was very worried for prom. Monique took a vague idea of what I wanted and turned it into a beautiful hairstyle that lasted for the whole night.
My mom, my sister and I will continue to get our hair done by Monique as long as we live in GA. She is BRILLIANT!

Finally got in for a visit to see Natasha today. It was well worth the wait. Customer service was A++ and my natural silk press was beautiful. I made multiple appointments to make sure I don’t ever have to wait this long again. If you’re hesitating, make your appointment, you won’t regret it!

Hello! I just want to say I am truly amazed with the stylist I worked with. Her name is Emily, highly recommend her. I have a short woman’s cut working towards the «pink» look with the longer top. She was super easy to work with and talk to. She had the style and flair that I look for. Because let’s face it. I really don’t know all the details of the cut. I just know generally what I want. Well she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted before we even went to the shampoo bowl. The salon was very clean and modern, all of the employees were super nice, very friendly and professional. Go to M Salon you won’t be sorry!

I visited this salon for the first time today (thanks Unilocal!). I have natural hair and like to wear it in its natural state (i.e. no straightening). I usually travel 30 — 45 min to salons in the city to get my hair done, so I’m glad I’ve finally found some natural hair care experts in Alpharetta!
My appointment was made with Natasha and she was awesome. I brought in a picture for reference for my haircut and she made sure to check with me on my expectations for the style as she cut each section. My hair doesn’t like to cooperate when it comes to wash n go type styles, but Natasha tried several techniques and products until she got it looking nice.
I also noticed a variety of clients (white hair, relaxed black hair, natural black hair) so it seems that they cater to everyone.
I didn’t have any assistants work on my hair, but I noticed that some of the other clients did for things like hair washing and blow drying. Its nice that they step in so you don’t have sit waiting with dripping hair while your main stylist finishes up with someone else.

This salon is like coming home. I have been a client of Monique Mingo for over 10 years and would follow her just about anywhere. She is a great owner and surrounds herself with a team of individuals that are caring and competent! I love the family feel of this establishment and get a smile on my face whenever I step through the door. I have introduced a number of my friends to M Salon and they love it. I even converted my husband! Nahla has been a great addition to the team.

I can’t say enough great things about M Salon & Spa. First the location is great. Minutes from GA 400. The staff is very knowledgeable about all types of hair. I’m natural and this is the only salon that I will let blow out my hair. They also teach you how to maintain your hair as well. In addition they have a wonderful esthetician Nahla that does sugar scrubs, lashes and threading. She also does facials but I have yet to get one yet. Definitely recommend you can’t go wrong no matter what your hair type.

Area resident for over 15 years and I can honestly say this is by far the highest quality salon with trained professionals, fabulous products, and customer service that you can find in the N Fulton area!

When I showed up for my appointment there was no one else waiting and no other hairdressers in the salon. I still had to wait 20 minutes after my appointment time while the owner chatted with the receptionist. When she finally cut my hair she seemed very distracted. We had discussed adding in a few light layers in the back (I have long hair) but when I got home I realized that all she had done was cut it straight across with no layers at all. The cut was very expensive and I had given her a decent tip. I would never go back.

Love this salon! I’ve been going to Monique for years and she just gave me a great new haircut!.. so cute and easy to manage. Sharrise transformed my daughter’s hair for homecoming and it was perfect! She loved it! Thanks!!!

Brought my daughter here to get her hair done for prom. We booked an appointment with Natasha Chipp — the natural hair guru at the salon. We were seen right on time and were in and out in about 1.5 hours.
Natasha did a fantastic job with the blow out, trim and flat iron and was really friendly.
The salon interior is nice and super clean and all the staff we came into contact with couldn’t have been nicer.

The atmosphere alone makes this place awesome. Very clean and classy! Hope to become a regular. Especially since Natasha has experience with natural hair!

I’ve been going to Monique for more years than I can count. She’s a magician with color and cut, and she’s a master at balayage (french hair painting), rendering your hair highlighted in a most natural fashion. Monique, please move to D.C. with me!
