This is a great place for coffee and donuts. I would recommend you go on Sunday because that is the only day they make fresh beignets. They are the bomb! Also, the price is very affordable for hand made donuts and the coffee is great.

Super nice people, super clean place. The donuts were great the first time we came but the two subsequent times, product progressively went downhill. The last time we went the donuts were flat out cold and when we into nto our maple donut, the frosting just fell apart. It was clear, the donuts were a day old and cold. It was only 715 am. We even gave them the benefit of a doubt by getting several types of types of donuts they were all cold and old. I felt offended and cheated. unfortunately we won’t return

Came for the Beignets, and was not disappointed. Wow. They make everything fresh themselves. The Beignets are made to order. Will definitely go back and highly recommended.

Fantastic morning stop. Tried the beignets today… Transported me back to Café Du Monde in New Orleans! Best ever donuts with more things coming including scones I hear. No contest with anything else in the area.

I guess it’s a donut, in theory… What I got tasted like a wheat bagel with chocolate icing. no thanks

Cute name and location. I was at the dry cleaners in the same shopping center and decided to try them out. They didn’t have a large selection but I saw a few people leave with boxes so I assume they took the last of the inventory. I eventually chose a maple donut. The donut completely fell apart on me as I was eating it. The maple frosting would break off in chunks each time I bit into the donut and ended up in my lap and the floor instead of my mouth. The actual donut was refrigerated and greasy. All of it was tasted good so their recipe is fine but something went wrong with the execution. The donut should be room temperature, not greasy, and the frosting should stay on the donut.

What a taste of donuts… I had a caramel w/​almond donut and it was like Xmas eve… sweet and warm.

Was very excited to try the donuts. The cake donuts were HORRIBLE; however the orange pistachio yeast donut was delicious, and so was the coffee. I honestly thought that they had mistaken salt for sugar when they made the cake donuts, cause they tasted like a very bad bagel, just awful. The young lady who recommended the Italian brand coffee was friendly and helpful. Please rethink the recipe of the cake donuts, as well as of the tasteless chocolate icing. Delicious ganache is very simple to make: heavy cream, and good quality chocolate. Will wait a few months before giving this place a second chance.

We visited this donut shop the first time about a month ago after a soccer game, 2 families, 6+ folks, right around 12noon on Saturday. Unfortunately, we were informed as we walked in by the staff that they only had 2 donuts left. As we turned to leave they invited us back another time (how about offering those 2 as a courtesy sample to potential customers as a recovery effort). We found somewhere else to get a treat.
My family visited again this past Sunday, eager to check out the donuts. I will admit that the service staff was super friendly and inviting. However the donuts just didn’t look fresh and appealing to me (1^st clue). We inquired about a few flavors and ultimately selected 6 donuts, 4 different varieties. Both folks behind the counter suggested putting the apple caramel fritter thingy in the microwave for 20 seconds before eating it at home (2^nd clue). When we got home, I broke into one of the glazed donuts and all the glaze on the top fell off in pieces all over the counter. I was left with a hard, dry, bready donut. I then tried the apple fritter thingy, 10 secs in the microwave. It was a warm semi soft bready treat with a light glaze. My son tried his and instantly said he didn’t want it. Overall or entire family was disappointed.
Maybe we missed something, but none of the donuts were to our liking. They tasted like old stale bread with crumbly sugar on top. I really wanted to like this place, but all I want is my $ 9 back. I hope they have enough folks that like that type of donut, in the meantime we’ll stick with Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts and even Publix/​Kroger. Because they did score on customer service, I wish them success!

From time to time we go there as a little treat for our kids. My daughter enjoys the donut holes. We always have a different choice to choose from. Of course you have the usual classic glazed donuts. But the do on a daily basis have a variety to choose from.
Charles the owner is super friendly and so are his two staff. The donuts are made fresh and yes they will run out if you go later in the day! But thats ok, I am happy to support a local business who makes baked goods from scratch.

The second star is out of pity. Perhaps when they’ve been open a bit longer, they’ll actually earn it.
We arrived at 1230 on Saturday. There were exactly NINE donuts in the case, no more than one of any kind. I’ve had a wider selection on a NY coffee cart at 2 pm. Why advertise that you are open until 3 pm if you don’t plan your production to meet that goal?
They did also offer a small selection of «donut holes,» which my wife selected. I snagged the last chocolate frosted donut. Both the donut and the «holes» were stale, chewy, rubbery and more suited to the refuse pile at a Dunkin’ Donuts than to a gourmet shop in Alpharetta. If a Manhattan coffee cart offered a patron either of these «treats,» he’d be run off the block in seconds.
As an aside, we inquired about the crullers that they have on the menu. Sadly, in the words of the counter lady, they are «the poofy kind — you know, like a croissant.» That’s a FRENCH cruller. A true cruller (olykoek in the original Dutch) is a fried cake product, not a yeast-​inflated doily.

Awesome gourmet donuts! Go early while they are hot! Charles (the owner) is passionate about his craft!

Went there on a recommendation from a friend. Wanted to surprise my wife with an assortment of 1 dozen. No discount for dozen. $ 31 later we tried them all and were not excited about any of them. They were dry and looked better than they tasted. The blueberry bear claw had a few blueberries on top. I specifically asked if it was filled with blueberries and of course I was assured that it was, but no such luck. They will have to come up with more inviting flavors and fresher tasting donuts to bring me back. The coffee was actually very good. But if I just want good coffee and stale donuts I will go to starbucks.

I’ve been back a few more times now and while the service is super polite and friendly, some of the donuts are just not good. It’s been a 50% hit or miss on whether the donut will be good or turn out to be either a super dry or super greasy mess of a donut. The good ones are really good though, so I’ll still stop by once in a while and stick to what I know. I’d definitely recommend people to stick to the yeast donuts.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that this place tends to run out of donuts really early on the weekends. A few hours before closing early. They’re new though, so hopefully they’ll get better on that front over time.

Took my kids here this morning for a quick bite. I must say I was very impressed. The donuts were fresh and very filling. The workers were extremely nice and helpful too. We will definitely be going back. Nice addition to the Johns Creek/​Alpharetta area.

Wonderful — been twice since they’ve been opened, and things have been excellent.
Crullers (Plain, Lemon, Chocolate, Chocolate Chocalate (?)) — spot on from a texture and taste perspective.
PB+J — thicker and more dense than I would have expected, but filled with Strawberry goodness and topped with Peanut Butter.
Lemon Glazed — wow. I got this on my second trip, started eating it in the car, and immediately regretted only getting one — I could have eaten a half dozen, it was so light and flavorful.

Website lists the operating hours, Unilocal displays the operating hours, your door shows your operating hours… drove all the way out at 10:30 on a Saturday morning and you’re closed. Awesome.
