ABC Blinds and Shutter Factory

We’ve used ABC for over ten years and they’ve always been courteous and fast with any requests.
Michael is more than cooperative and we hope to maintain a great working relationship. We needed some discontinued parts after some time had passed and Michael pulled through for us.

We had an excellent experience with getting blinds for our townhouse. I contacted Michael based on great recommendations from a friend. I asked for a basic white blind to be installed since we are planning on renting out our townhouse in the future. I appreciate that Michael understood this and did not try to sell me more expensive products. When it came time for installation, he was very accommodating to my hectic schedule. He completed the job quickly and the blinds look great! Best of all, his prices were the well below other vendors’ quotes.
I needed one of the blinds fixed about a month later (most likely my two year old had her way with it). Michael came out to fix it for free. I truly appreciate his customer service especially with the pressures of being small business owner!

My interaction with this company was a while ago but I feel that it is still worth mentioning especially if I can save a consumer from making an unnecessary mistake. I live relatively close to ABC. After actually stopping by the factory to see the products and speaking with Michael, I hired him to install blinds at my home He did a great job. Everything was measured accurately and fit beautifully. I was very pleased and the custom blinds have held up over time.
I was so pleased with the outcome that I actually recommended them to my office. An appointment was made and Michael was a «no show» No call was received and when he was contacted, he stated that he had been in a car accident and would contact the office to reschedule. He never called and they were unable to contact him after that as he would not return the office’s calls. Since I had recommended him, I felt that his unprofessional behavior had reflected poorly on me and I vowed never to recommend him again.
Fast forward a couple of years and I wanted to get a special motorized blind for my daughter’s room. I could not find a company close and I wanted to make sure that the new blind matched the old blind. I reluctantly contacted Michael who scheduled an appointment for a few days later. Unfortunately, Michael never showed and never called with an explanation. Final straw! I finally learned my lesson and I will never, ever use this business or refer anyone to this business again. I don’t care how great the product is, professionalism and customer care is just as important.
Michael’s behavior was totally unacceptable and if I could, I would give ABC zero stars.
