Our quaint storefront offers a variety of house-​made cookies, donuts, bars, pastries, bread, and weekly specialties inspired by our local customers’ interests. We also specialize in cake and cupcake creations for every occasion, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and every holiday or event in between. Come sit at our bar and enjoy a steaming cup of locally roasted coffee accompanied by a breathtaking view of the Mississippi river and your favorite bakery treat.

History

Established in 2015.

While the bakery was built in 1920, the business has changed hands multiple times over the years. We opened our doors March 7, 2015 under the title of The Good View Bakery, named after the gorgeous Buena Vista City Park just miles away.

Meet the Business Owner

Emily F.

Business Owner

Born and raised in a small town, Emily spent her first 18 years in the central-​Virginia area before moving to Saint Paul, MN. Her senior year of high school sparked her love of the culinary arts when she completed the «Julie and Julia Project» for her capstone. She attended Macalester College and The University of Minnesota while also training to become a professional cake decorator. She worked at three bakeries in the Twin Cities before moving to Alma, WI. She is thrilled to be fulfilling her childhood dream of owning a bakery and is indebted to her incredible support system that helped her achieve it.
