Eyebrow Threading

After reading a few of the reviews, I decided to give this place a shot. Though its name is Eyebrow Threading, they offer other types of threading services, like upper lip and full face. Eyebrows were $ 12, FYI.
The service was great. I’ve had my brows waxed before, but, never threaded. It did not hurt (I mean, obviously, there was a little unpleasant tugging sensation, but, we are talking about removing hairs from its roots… so, I would go keep this in mind… just saying).
I was in and out in no time, and the place seemed nice and reasonable with its customer service and prices.
I would recommend!

I’ve come here a couple times and the first 2 or 3 times wasn’t awful. It was today that makes me not wanna come back. Ever.
I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded for about a year. The first time I got it done, I found it to be a tiny bit painful where my eyes teared up a little. From then on it got better, I barely if at all, felt any pain. Except today. Not only was I literally crying but my eyebrows were actually bleeding. I don’t know if this lady just learned how to thread via YouTube and this was her first day or what. My eyebrows were burning for an hour after I got it done. I’ve never experienced that before. Not with threading or waxing.
I was there for what seemed to be 10 minutes telling this lady how to fix my eyebrows because with every touch, they looked uneven. Why.

Though it’s advertised as a place for threading for eyebrows, they offer other types of threading services, like upper lip and full face, which is good. The service was great. The lady put baby powder on my face before beginning, which never happened anywhere else I got threaded, but it helped my skin, so no complaints there. I was in and out in no time, and the place seemed nice and reasonable with its customer service and prices. Would recommend!

(a) i’m of south asian descent and have been getting my eyebrows threaded since i was like 10. they do a mediocre job here — nothing to rave about at all. i only come here when i am absolutely desperate to get my eyebrows done since its a 2 minute walk from my apt. i’ll pretty much only come here when i don’t have time to go to my usual place (boston threading in brighton — amazing).
(b) i’m leaving a one star review particularly because of the customer service here. i walked in at 6 40 PM to get my eyebrows done. the lady working tells me they are closed. i go on to tell her i only need to get my eyebrows done and its not 7 yet, which is listed as the closing time on their door. she still turns me away. why do you have a sign saying you’re open till 7 then?

Every time I come in they do a consistent and amazing job on my difficult eyebrows. The price for brow threading is also very reasonable compared to other nearby salons. So glad I found this gem!

I’ve lived in Boston for 7 years and haven’t been able to find anyone I like to thread my eyebrows. I found Añu at the Brighton location but now she’s at this one on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is amazing! I will never go to anyone else. Very sweet and asks you exactly what you want. She is also soooo gentle!!! I’m usually a baby when it comes to getting my eyebrows done and with her it didn’t hurt one bit. Amazing job

Without a doubt the best place to get your eyebrows done. Not only are they accommodating for last minute appointments, they also do a GREAT JOB! Always sweet and nice and spend a lot of time & care on their customers.

I’ve been having my eyebrows threaded at Heritage Threading and Benefit Cosmetics pretty interchangeably, but came across this place one day on my way home from work and figured it was more convenient.
This woman is AMAZING. My eyebrows have never looked so good, and although there was a decently long wait (~10−15 minutes), she works very quickly and efficiently. For only $ 12 and this close to my apartment, totally worth the wait.

Having grown up with a foreign mother, eyebrow waxes have been a big no-​no in our home. My mother always frowned up women using wax on their faces. Hence, from a young age, I’ve only ever gotten my eyebrows threaded. Now, for those of you who do not know what threading is, are skeptical of it, or just don’t like it, I won’t go into the benefits of it. I will simply say this: threading will get you an infinitely more accurate and even shape than waxing ever will. Think of it logistically – you are not applying a formula to your face and ripping it off with paper… there is so much room for error with that. Threading involved manually removing each hair to create a precise shape. If done correctly, there is no need to pluck stray hairs (usually, with waxing, the stylist will go back and pluck missed hairs because they cannot re-​wax the same spot without ripping your skin off).
Is it uncomfortable? Yes. Will your eyes water? Depends on how sensitive your sinuses are. Is it more painful than waxing? Not at all. Don’t be a wimp!
All that said, Annu does my eyebrows here, and she is wonderful. I have a complicated bone structure and doing my eyebrows is a pain… every eyebrow stylist ever has told me that. I went in with grown-​out brows, and she threaded them into a gorgeous arc – not too thin, a little full, and a great match for my face. She also advised me on which areas to let grow in the future, so on my second visit, they came out even better. The place is nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely give them a go.

Sunita was the best! Quick, friendly, and all around excellent. Definitely have her do your eyebrows. It was my first time ever getting my brows threaded and she was very patient and nice. I highly recommend!

I was looking for the best place to do my brows .I’m happy since I found this place. They made my brows exact the way I want. Easier to find out. Friendly environment made me happy.
