Went in looking for a new Bolt, left a very happy person with a Bolt-C, The sales manager Ryan got right to the point, I did not have to deal with the normal over-selling jerk. I felt comfortable, he just helped me confirm my decision. He helped me understand all of the cost’s and what tri-city can perform post purchase. I will be sending all of my friends to Ryan to pick up a new bike.

I’ve only ever had service performed at this place, never bought any vehicles. For me it’s a place typical of its kind. You know the bike stores that have the fancy showrooms and all the latest apparel and gear being sold at a premium price to cover their high overhead. They sell cruisers, quads, crotch rockets and have a small selection… maybe 15 bikes total. As far as service goes they’ll get the job done correctly… but it’s going to cost you. Their service manager Travis is a very knowledgeable guy and knows his stuff. He will be able to accurately diagnose and fix the problem. The only problem is this is a «charge by the hour» type of place that gets expensive depending on the work you need.

I own a motorcycle and a Vespa Scooter. A few months ago I blew out a tire on the Vespa and needed to have a new tire mounted. I ordered the tire online and just needed it mounted and balanced. Tri-City said they could mount and balance with the tire off of the scooter for $ 30.00. That’s the average price for a mount and balance of a motorcycle tire (which is high IMHO) just about everywhere.
I took the old tire and rim and the new tire to the shop. They were able to mount the new tire, but couldn’t balance it-they said they didn’t have the «right» equipment. Frankly, I didn’t think they had the «right» equipment either-based on the sum total of the two guys’ I.Q.s in the shop.
I was STILL charged $ 30.00 for the tire mount only! I should have been charged much less because they didn’t balance the tire. Now, how safe is it to put a wheel with a new tire on a scooter without being balanced? I was very disappointed and won’t go back. In fact, I bought wheel mounting/dismounting and balancing equipment so I’ll be able to mount my own tires and not have to deal with these dolts.
