Bought a new Volvo here because of the lifetime engine guarantee. Followed recommended maintenance and the engine ended up failing. Wouldn’t honor the lifetime guarantee. When I expressed how upset I was with the situation, I was asked by a salesperson if I could be quiet since he was trying to sell a car or else I could be charged with trespassing. Had to take it to Brown Daub because I could no longer trust Scott. Was able to work with Brown Daub and Volvo to solve the problem to my satisfaction.

not impressed with their used sales specialist. I called to ask if they had any older used volvos for 10k or under and the sales person on the phone laughed at me. are you effing serious???
there are plenty of old volvos for way under 10k and even if there weren’t, i don’t know what sales guy would, in his right mind, laugh at or shame a customer for asking a question.

Beware of buying certified used vehicles. Even when they say that work has been done. Bought a vehicle on a Thursday returned it on a Monday and want to charge for something the sales person said Ed done. Not very happy with this dealership.

Bought my S40 last year at an auction and that following summer the check engine light came on. I took my car to a mechanic who specializes in German cars who we had thought would be familiar with Volvos, since I’m the first in my family to own one. That guy tried to scam me, so we took my car over to Scott Volvo for a second opinion. The technician GUESSED what the problem was when we described on the phone what the other one had told us, and he was right — I had a bad solenoid. The sleazeball mechanic also wanted to get me for a new timing belt & pump plus run more diagnostics that would eventually cost me upwards of $ 1800! I wasted $ 150 on his «diagnosis» alone. Scott informed us that my timing belt is good for another 10,000 miles than what the other guy said. I’ll cut to the chase– the situation could have ended badly, and I’m glad I took my car here. They told me what was wrong and didn’t tell me something was wrong that wasn’t. I also knocked out my inspection and the service was prompt and courteous. The price was reasonable and absolutely worth it. A while after, my car was hit, but that’s another story. I went to Scott Collision and they were absolutely helpful! Fantastic company and service.

Both sales and service are horrible. The sales guy talked me into buying some kind of protection for the car’s interior and exterior and then laughed at me when I asked him about it a couple years later. The «policy» is completely useless and cost a couple hundred dollars. I also think he lied to me that the car was one of 2 cars of that type left in the US. (the reason I should buy it there instead of another place that offered a lower price). Next the service, they wanted to charge me nearly $ 20 for «labor» to install a side marker light that takes all of 20 seconds to install.
This place is a complete rip off.

Bought a pre-​owned Saab here and can’t say enough. Scott went the extra mile to ensure I was happy. There was an issue with the security system that came up randomly (I never saw it before after test driving it a few times and Scott didn’t see it either). They repaired it no questions asked.
They also had no issue at all with my driving the car to have my mechanic take a look at it. Even the price negotiation was a pleasant experience. Very down-​to-​earth employees as well. Recommended you check them out.

Dan Beidler was fantastic! He was a pleasure to talk to and so easy going that he made us feel every comfortable when looking and test driving cars.
I went with my future father-​in-​law and fiancé to look for an SUV that is a better monthly car payment as well as better on gas than my 2008 Jeep was. Dan was knowledgeable about the vehicles and answered all of our questions. We didn’t once feel pressured into buying a car and he helped us test drive 2; even took the car out of the showroom for me to drive! (and this is the one we brought home!!)
Bob in finance was very helpful as well in regards to the paperwork. We felt informed the entire time and that the team was willing to work with us so we got the best deal and the best car for our needs.
We’re from Bucks County but would certainly come back to Scott Lot for our next car. Thank you again for taking the time to work with us. I couldn’t be more pleased about this car buying experience and absolutely LOVE driving my new 2011 Chevy Equinox!!!
