One of my local favorites. Great wings, great service, hot waitresses. The wings are double fried I think and I haven’t been able to find anywhere that can duplicate their process. Waitresses are gorgeous and friendly. Beer selection is good, I think they need more specials. Am happy to see they have grown significantly in the past few years; PJs wings are used for the wing bowl in Philly. You must go.

Wings and beer. Lots of selection of each, great old school ambiance. Great burger selection.

Been going here for years and have always appreciated the quaint building and atmosphere. Glad to hear they are not planning on knocking it down to make a mega restaurant. But…lately the food quality has gone down and the prices continue to rise. Wings«the famous ones» not cooked thoroughly, cheese sauce with PJ’S fries hard and stale, few other items. Staff at times seems to have an «expectation» not an «appreciation» for tips. Garbage cans and dish buckets next to tables. This place lives on reputation but they may want to remember the area is growing with plenty of good locations for drink/food and more coming shortly. Shape up PJ’S! One more item, don’t look in the kitchen before your order… yuk. Maybe they can renovate? Walbert location cleaner and smarter waitresses who pay more attention to the customers, not their iPhones.

Sit at the bar of you can, you’ll get prompt quick service. Sitting in the restaurant however is a riskier proposition. Apparently this location hires its waitresses based on their looks regardless of their ability. Not all of them are bad but some examples are of my having to steal my silverware from another table— in front of the manager who noticed nothing — - because our waitress forgot it and our food was getting cold; being served wings w no sauce then being told extra sauce was extra; being laughed at when pointing out we didn’t get any drummers with our order because the guy at the next table asked for all drummers; waiting forever to check out while watching our waitress on her iPhone; and countless other offenses that could fill a book. There’s a PJs 2 miles north on 309 and Walbert I suggest: the food is just as good and manager Steve runs a tight ship.

Great appetizers. I had the cheeseburger sliders. They were done perfectly. My wife had the southwestern egg rolls. She loved them and I benefitted from her inability to eat them all. They were delicious too. We ordered wings to go. They are always excellent. The beer selection isn’t bad, but not the best in the Lehigh Valley. The Copper Lager from Victory is excellent. My wife always gets the Flower Power from Ithaca! All around, a great place to eat and drink!

Average bar. Bartenders are not too outgoing. Burger was good. Fries were kind of plain in my opinion. The bar is crowded. I didn’t find anything too special nor do I have any major complaints, which is my reason for 3 stars. If you’re in the area give it a try. Bring some money bc a bud light bottle and corona bottle was $ 12!

Had takeout, and there are just a few curious aspects to our experience. — why doesn’t the French DIP come with au jus? It’s a French dip… — why do we have to request napkins? — no silverware for Togo? — no ketchup to go with a side of fries? Other than this the food was fresh and the wing sauce is really good. Just make sure you travel with your own ketchup, plastic silverware and bring your own napkins so you’ll be prepared.

Stopped for lunch, but will it come back as the burgers were very bland, almost flavorless. Not what I expected after I ate at their other location. Not recommended.

This place is way too dark! I can hardly see when I go in there! The food and service is very good, but why does the place have to be so dark?! I don’t want to have to strain to read the menu.

The place it really really dark inside. Food is not great just mediocre. The wings are good. I am picky. They are good and won’t disappoint. Not the best but pretty good. Don’t get the cheesesteak it sucks. I think it’s the sauce. Not sure if they mixed hot wing sauce in it but it doesn’t taste like a good cheesesteak from a pizza shop although the roll was amorosso for sure. It needs work. The waitresses are all dumb as a box of rocks for some reason at this place. You will have to ask for your silverware etc and remind them of everything you just asked for.

The clothes are too small especially for those that are bursting at the seams. Tacky tacky. Can’t say anything about the food because it’s a sin what the employees wear. And all those that support it are sinners.

I enjoy PJs this location is older than the Bethlehem location I’m used to. Service was great. Confusing entrance with no real host. I always order wings. They were good. I feel that the wings changed about a year ago. This is going to be weird but I don’t like big wings. I don’t want scrawny wings either but something something about big wings I just do not find appetizing. But i know that’s not a normal complaint so I can’t hold it against them. I prefer the boneless wings to avoid the jumbo wings that I seem to get all the time there.(Including Bethlehem)

Fantastic wings, some of the biggest and tastiest I’ve ever had. Only had an opportunity to try the mild sauce but looking to go back and try more. The«famous fries» are very good and a copycat of Chickie and Pete’s, but nonetheless still delicious. Also had the French Onion Burger, Short Rib Melt, and today had the Bacon Jalapeño Cream Cheese Burger — all 5 star worthy. I can only come here during work and wish I could have a beer with my burgers and wings!

Any place that has beer specials, righteous bar food, crispy, crunchy wings and good tunes get’s a solid mark in my book. Whelihan’s delivers on all fronts. Plus the prices are great for what you get. The only thing I would like is more variety in the eight or ten sauce types, maybe give me some options regarding a dry rub or something. But that’s a minor complaint as I had three sauces(original hot, sweet-hot and whatever their hottest sauce is) and each of them was mighty tasty. The wings were perfectly sauced and tasty and meaty. Beer was cold. Waitress was good and the vibe was good too. Anytime I am in this area for business, I make it a point to stop in at PJ’s.

UPDATE: I just wanted to mention that my photo of the raw drumstick was removed from Unilocal(I guess the administrators didn’t care for my my honest review with the«raw» evidence). If you go here, make sure the poultry is cooked thoroughly for your safety. But I still wouldn’t recommend going here. When I came here, I took my friend who came all the way from Germany to have a fun night out. I was so embarrassed when he noticed that the chicken was on the chewier side… In the place now… was served legitimately undercooked chicken. It was a thicker drum and there was blood and the flesh was translucent. I told the waitress and she pointed to another wing and said«well this is normal.» I don’t need excuses why you served undercooked chicken. She returned with a new plate of wings, forgot to get me another plate, and forgot the celery and blue cheese. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I hope I don’t get salmonella or violent runs tonight.

Words can’t even begin to describe how I feel about this place. A tiny bar and a lot of people combined with abysmally slow service is a recipe for disaster. And oh, it was a hot mess. First, we were stuck at a high-top table at the bar, where I couldn’t even sit down, thanks to the polite gentlemen behind me. After what felt like forever, my man and I snagged two seats at the bar, where our drinks remained empty for a while. Still, the quality of service increased a bit. The food wasn’t anything to write home about — dry boneless wings with a not-so-hot hot sauce, and an average quesadilla. I can’t say we’ll ever go back — there are better«sports bar» options with better service and better food. But man, was it an experience.
