MINI of Allentown

Called and set up appointment to get power steering repaired under warranty, set appointment up for 2 weeks after 1^st phone call, on day of appointment (drop off set for 10am) I get a phone call at 8:45am an sounded like they had a problem but just asked about the car an said «see you at 10» I get to the dealer around 945am and wait for the car they said I’d be out by noon, 1140 comes around an the guy comes over and says they will need me to bring the car back at a later date to get it fixed, so now it’s 12 still waiting for my car when it was supposed to be loaner car so I didn’t have to wait and now I need to take another day off to come back when they have the proper parts completely BS could have told me that on the phone and not have me waste my time and day sitting here in a cold dealer ship TURN THE HEAT UP!!! Going to go to MINI OF THE MAIN LINE FOR NOW ON

The worst dealership. The service guy Luis is so unhelpful. When I presented him with my warranty, he literally rolled his eyes. It’s unfortunate the amount you spend for a Mini Cooper and when going to their service department it’s an ordeal from hell. I had two encounters here and both have been unpleasant. I wrote off the first one. But the second time is no excuse. When they could not manage to get my warranty straight the first time, I paid out of pocket. I personally called Luis for the invoice. 10 phone calls and emails later, no response. Trust me. Send your business to Morristown. They are just looking to make a buck off of you here. Avoid!
They also want to charge you an arm and a leg for service which should be half the price.

Sales is OK but service is lacking. Very inconvenient hours and long wait to get appointments. You may need to make several calls to get your problem resolved. Phone calls not returned. Frequent turnover of sales people… so no one to be your advocate once they sell you a car. I love my car but wish their customer service is not good.

I have owned a Mini for just under three years now. Matt Murphy was my advisor at Mini, who walked me through the purchase of my first car. As a first time car-​owner I was overwhelmed, but Matt made it a positive experience. From every bump in the road with my new car, I was able to reach out to Matt for guidance. Most recently, Matt went above and beyond to help me into a new car when my first car needed major repairs. He was always supportive through every obstacle and every detail of the transaction. He dedicated much of his time and fought for me every step of the way. Matt deserves an award for coming to my rescue when times were tough. I would recommend him and Mini of Allentown to anyone looking for an all-​around wonderful car-​buying experience.

Matt, our sales person, was put to the test. I had specific requirement for my Mini. My husband called several dealers from Maryland to New Jersey trying to locate a Mini Cooper S with a sunroof, rails for a bike rack, manual transmission, and other requirement. Matt answered all our repeated phone calls promptly and with a positive professional tone. He encouraged us to travel from Philadelphia to Allentown for a great deal. We took him up on the offer. When we arrived, Matt was ready, He made the purchase seamless. I had a choice of colors — who doesn’t want British Racing Green? He had answers to our questions from the transmission performance for direct drive as I have never had a car with 6 gears. He answered questions about the electronics/​computers/​modules. Matt even took the time to show me how to set the blue tooth phone connection with voice activation. He is the employee you want to contact when you make your purchase.

The staff and service department are friendly and courteous at this dealership, not a typical dealership that’s pushy to sell a car. Ask for Lauren for you mini advisor, she knows Mini vehicles well (owns 2) and is great to deal with.
