It’s been about 7 years since I’ve been here, but this place was great. My now-fiancé and I rented Victorian era costumes for his senior prom, and one of the guys at the shop made sure our accessories and costumes were all in fashion in the same decade. I was not expecting that at all, or that my rental would include not just a dress(size 14), but also evening gloves, choker, and headpiece; my fiancé got a suit, ascot, gloves, and top hat, maybe cufflinks too. They put together two complete outfits for us for a great price. We had them three days(I think rentals are normally for two days but it was a holiday weekend), so we also wore them to the Philly Art Museum because hey, why not? Months later I went for some hair paint, which for some reason wasn’t being carried in the seasonal Halloween stores closer to my house. DMAL had just what I was looking for, at a good price. I hope they’re still doing well and being awesome.

I love this place, I go here for all of my costuming needs. It has a nice selection and the people are always there to help.

This place is the best. I used to come here all the time for drama costumes when I was in high school. They have a great selection of costumes for rental, as well as some more baisc ones for purchase. Plus they have a great selection of accessories if you’re doing your own thing(as I often do). Don’t miss it.
