This is my husband and I’s favorite spot for breakfast. He loves Eggs Benedict and this is one of his favorites.

Stopped for breakfast because breakfast is always a great meal to go out to eat. Thought we would try someplace new, so off to Alma’s in Allenton. Overall a decent experience. Waitress did say the hash browns were fresh and not frozen but I couldn’t swear to it. I ordered them extra crispy and and said it twice(VERYVERYCRISPYPLEASE!). I got cold NOT crispy hashbrowns without a lot of flavor. Omelet was decent. Not great, not bad, but decent. Wife’s pancakes were pancakes,(shrug) Decent, not bad. Good coffee, solid service, clean, prices ok. Food is average, not bad, not great. I’d eat here again but wouldn’t go out of my way for breakfast here.

Alma’s Café is just off the highway. We stopped here on our way North from Milwaukee, heading home. I had made the comment before our trip that we needed to find a «place» on the route between our home and Milwaukee, so that we could have a regular stop. I believe that we have found our Place in Alma’s! Cozy and adorable, the atmosphere is very warm and inviting, a welcome respite from the harried highway. I had the pepperjack burger, chicken dumpling soup, and coffee. He had a Blt hold the mayo, stuffed pepper soup and water. For dessert we split a piece of warmed Apple Struessel Pie. Everything was cooked to perfection and incredibly delicious and satisfying. I felt like the waitress was new, but friendly and attentive. The bathrooms were clean and well decorated. The train station theme carried throughout was lovely. We will absolutely stop again and again.

Very convenient just off the highway. Friendly prompt service and very clean. I started with a cup of chicken dumpling soup then had the ranch chicken wrap with cottage fries. Food was good I would come back if passing thru.

Heading north from MKE, found Alma’s on the gps and headed there. We arrived 20 minutes before closing; seated quickly and given time to peruse the menu. Food was all good, sandwiches and breakfast items alike. Clean bathrooms also appreciated! Just off the exit, so stop by.

We stopped in for a quick lunch. We had seen their listing on the highway. Nice little café. Decorated nicely. Good food, good prices. Best soup I have had in a while. Perfect little lunch spot.

I’ve eaten here twice and both times were excellent. Good food, friendly and timely service, great prices. Cute interior done up in a train scene. Front entrance is made to look like a caboose. This is right off hwy 41, Go west on 33 and turn right by gas station. They are at the far end of a little strip mall on the left.
