This is a great place overlooking the ocean. For location alone it deserves a 5*. Although they have a beautiful outside area, we sat inside at the bar. 3 of us went for happy hour, which runs from 3 – 6. Our bartender Kevin was personable & prompt with taking our orders. He made a delicious modified Cosmo with peach liqueur that really hit the spot. Happy hour prices on drinks offered are good($ 5 house martinis, I believe $ 5 wines & $ 1 off each beer), although regular prices are a bit steep. Included in happy hour are a few appetizers. We shared the sausage & peppers, hot dog sliders, meatball flat bread, fried zucchini & a tuna taco, for $ 5 each. It was plenty of food for 3 of us. Nothing was outstanding but all were decent. I went here years ago before Hurricane Sandy wiped it out & it took them several years to rebuild. I do not recall their food being fabulous back then. Now that they’re back, I am looking forward to going for dinner. Oh, and while enjoying each other’s company, drinks & food, we saw what looked like a whale spouting water out in the ocean. We watched it for probably half an hour. Couldn’t see something like that just anywhere!

Mister C’s is open! The new place is beautiful! You can now see the ocean from every table in the dining room. We were there last night and everything we ate was delicious! We had great time!

In the world of growing vegans, you’d think they’d know vegans can eat more than steamed veggies. It was a holiday and they said they cannot make me pasta primavera. In vegan world, isn’t that sauted veggies and pasta? But«no can do.» When I was presented with a tasteless bowl of steamed veggies(i don’t even make myself at home), I sent it back and the manager said they can make me anything. Well, then they should communicate with wait and cook staff because I was told they could not accommodate on a holiday. …I only had a salad…

I dined here during the Jersey Shore Restaurant week. The service was great and the food was delicious. The views of the ocean are incredible. Will definitely plan a visit during the summer to check out their outdoor bar/patio.

Happy to see Mister C’s is back and better than ever! Tuna tartare was off the charts good ! Everyone was gracious! Service was impeccable! And the view there is the best on the Jersey Shore! Signs that spring is here!

I came here for a baby shower. The food was just OK nothing crazy or to write home about. It was a buffet style brunch. The biggest upset was the egg dish they made. It was extremely runny and I couldn’t even eat it. The service however was excellent! The waiters were very on top of everything and always making sure everyones drinks were filled.

I just had dinner at Mister C’s tonight. I’ve eaten there many times with many different friends and have yet to have anything but a great dinner. Tonight I chose two items from their«specials» menu: crab cake appetizer and brazino entrée. DELICIOUS! Then you add to that, excellent service and the most incredible view of the ocean. This Sunday(December 7) is a Christmas Tree Lighting on the beach right in front of the beach side of Mister C’s. with a big, beautiful tree just waiting to be lit. Rarely can you find, great food, service AND ambiance, let alone when that ambiance includes the best view of the ocean anywhere at the Shore. Try to catch a full-moon night and you’ll have it all!

The only thing good about this place was the view. The good was overpriced and flavorless. None of the lights were on and neither was the heat. Our waiter was nice enough but spent the majority of the time talking to/flirting with the bartender, who was complaining about someone, maybe a previous customer. The bar was pretty packed and it wasn’t even 2 yet. It would have passed for okay if the place wasn’t trying to be an upscale restaurant.

Had the best time tonight at Mr. C’s ribbon cutting. Amazing food. Top knotch service. Great entertainment and happy hour drink specials. Can’t beat the ocean view and modern, sexy interior. This is where I’ll go to make a long winter enjoyable with the company of a great crowd. Loving the jersey shore!

We enjoyed a quaint little farewell party for friends moving to Florida. The food and drinks were great, I had the Rigatoni A la Norma and it was just like I remembered before the storm that closed Mr C’s. The Funnel Fries were a unique dessert, served with 3 different sauces. The inside has been tastefully remodeled with absolutely breathtaking views of the ocean. It gives you the feeling of dining on a cruise ship. It has the best bar view of any at the shore, overlooking just the beach and ocean. There is also an outside roof deck but that was closed for a private party, I’m sure the view up there is amazing!

Pretty good food, wished they grilled the steak they taste pan fried and the bake potato was small but all in all it’s descent and the view is the best! Very polite professional staff!

The new building is beautiful; very similar to the old one. It is the best restaurant for ocean views in the Asbury Park area. There is now an outside balcony in front of the bar. Makes you really feel like you’re almost in the water. The food is average; nothing special. In the future we will probably visit in the afternoon and early evening and keep it casual, like a burger. I don’t think many people know it is reopened as there weren’t many people at the tables. The bar filled up as it got a little later though. Hopefully the dinners will improve over time.

Interesting place. I’ve been there many, many times. You won’t see anyone but white people on the beach. It’s just that kind of place.

I come here a few times each summer and usually enjoy myself. The atmosphere/dress code is casual and comfortable. Feel free to come in your jeans. Since the restaurant is located adjacent to a beach club, some customers are even wearing just their bathing suit cover-ups. The menu is varied. As a vegetarian, I am pleased to have a few dishes to select from. The food is usually decent, or standard. The service is usually awful. It can take forever to get served, and– on more than one occasion– I dealt with waitstaff with such limited mastery of the English language that communication was challenging. Be sure to sit outside. Not only do you get to overlook the ocean, but you avoid the mildew-y scent that lingers within the restaurant. Perhaps due to a combination of the restaurant’s location and the fact that the air conditioning is always kicked up high inside, the entire interior of the restaurant has a damp, uncomfortable feel to it, as well.

Eating at Mr. C’s the first time when they were up on Rt 71 in Deal about 20 years ago I was not overly impressed. Eating here several times over the years both in Deal and their new location these past few years on the water I’m still not overly impressed. Nice view however.

Talk about breathtaking views! Mister C’s is located in a beautiful area and is right over the beach, creating the most picturesque setting you could possibly ask for. Each window behind the bar is like a giant picture frame containing a new, awe inspiring image each time it’s viewed. I have been to this restaurant twice, once for a communion party which was located outside on the deck. They created a gorgeous, intimate little party. They set up a brunch buffet which included sliders, blueberry blintzes, french toast, eggs, quiche, pigs in a blanket, sausage and bacon as well as assorted baked goods and a lovely fruit platter. I found the food to be very good, particularly the quiche and the blintzes. The mimosas were also delightful. Sometimes it was a bit difficult to get the attention of the staff to get a drink, but they were generally pleasant and accommodating. My second visit here was for my boyfriend’s birthday celebration. There was some sort of sorority event going on at the same time and it was a little bit uncomfortable but all-in-all not terribly bothersome. However, I think it would have been nice if they informed our party of the situation beforehand since others in our situation may have been upset. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick and the food was very good. The chips appetizer and the shrimp cocktail were super tasty and my entrée, pasta with broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers, and sausage in a light tomato sauce was really delicious! I wish I could be eating it for lunch right now but I had no leftovers! Mister C’s Beach Bistro is definitely worth a try for those looking for a place for a romantic date, a fun family party, or just a place to enjoy a few good drinks and stare out at the breathtaking Atlantic shoreline!
